Hello GT Academics (!)

We are running a GT Academy starting today, running until the 8th of July

Want to know what you could win?

•  100 winners will be chosen randomly among all participants who have provided correct answers to all 4 questions.
•  The prize for each 100 winners is a pack of 3 GT-branded items (1 x leather wallet, 1 x 4GB USB stick, 1 x keyring).

 

To participate in the competition, you will have to answer the following 4 questions and email them your answers to community@eu.playstation.com

    1)  In the Round 1 main screen in the GT Academy 2012 demo, how many friends fit in the Friend Rankings leaderboard?

    2)  What colour is the car shown in the lower-right corner when entering the Round 1 screen?

    3)  How many Rounds does the GT Academy 2012 demo consist of?

    4) On which date did the GT Academy 2012 Nürburgring race begin?
        (You will get a hint here: http://eu.gran-turismo.com/gb/news/d44024.html)

To take part you will need to be from one of the following countries: Austria, Germany, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, South Africa and UK

You'll also need to be 18 year or older to take part.

 Competition ends on Sunday 08/07/2012 at 23:50 BST

Specific Rules for [GT Academy 2012 Quiz]

1. This promotion is open to residents of [Austria, Germany, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Switzerland,  and UK] aged  [18] years or over, except employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its associated companies, their agents, or anyone else professionally connected with the Competition.

2. To enter this promotion, entrants must:

(i)            Go to their local language forum at http://community.eu.playstation.com/playstationeu (“the Forum”);

(ii)           Click on the [GT Academy 2012 Quiz] thread;

(iii)          Sign in to their Sony Entertainment Network (SEN) Account, or if they don’t already have one, create and sign in to a SEN Account;

(iv)         [Follow the on-screen instructions].

3. Registration for PSN is subject to acceptance of the Terms of Service and User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
4. The opening date is [11/06/2012] at [12:00] [BST] and the closing date is [08/07/2012] at [23:59] [BST].
5. Only one entry per person is permitted and no entrant may win more than one prize.
6. All eligible entrants who have submitted their entry during the entry period will be placed into a draw.
7. The draw will take place within [1 week] of the closing date. [100] winner[s] will be selected at random.
8. The prize for each winner is [one GT branded leather wallet, one GT branded key ring and one GT branded 4GB USB stick]. The total value of the prize is approximately [60 GBP / 75 EUR].
9. The winner will be notified by private message within 2 weeks of the closing date and will be given 4 weeks to claim their prize.
10. The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to dispatch the prize within 30 days of receipt of the entrant’s claim but the Promoter does not accept any responsibility for prizes that are dispatched later than this period.
11. Prizes shall be dispatched by email, post or courier to the address associated with the winner’s SEN Account.
12. If the prize is found to be defective or damaged on delivery, the Promoter must be notified in writing within 7 days of the delivery date, otherwise the prize will be deemed to be accepted as delivered. This does not affect your statutory rights (if any).  
13. The Promoter shall publish the winner’s PSN online ID and country of residence on the Forum.

Nice competition. I would enter. But the 3 prizes came with the Signiture Edition I bought on release.

Might be nice to see them in colour. Let's face it, it's the only way I'll ever get to see them - I never win anything and I missed the sig edition too!

Those ones in the original post are in colour really. But sure. I will put some pics up tomorrow of the wallet aswell

OK, what am I missing? I can't see any other GT Academy Thread other than this one. Where is it?

Slight issue here Yaster, this question:

4) On which date did the GT Academy 2012 Nürburgring race begin? (with hint on GT Homepage)

Um, given that we only have one entry, I would like to know if the correct answer is the WRONG DATE posted on the GT Homepage or the actual CORRECT start date of the race? Given that there's actually 2 days difference. I require clarification on this one. There's 2 dates which apply, the 'Meeting' date and the actual correct 'Race' start date.

I will hold off my entry until answered. Thanks

I've probable chosen the wrong date, but the only one I could see was 22nd May anyway.
