A new age Midget it seems, haha, I'm sorry, I never knew that there was such a thing as a Mazda Scrum, it sounds rather derogatory!
I've never been a massive fan of Kei cars and I personally think that GT might have too many of them in there, but I guess we can't all have V8 Corvettes and Vipers.
I do think however, that the percentage of overall Kei cars should be kept to about 5% as they're not particularly globally significant outside Japan. There are some Kei cars that MUST be included, but I think that including 4 different models of the 1998 Daihatsu Cuore are overboard.

the gt acadamy should be seperate competition if u r using a pad to a wheel. its not a fair competition because u cannot take the traction off on the normal car if u use a pad and using a wheel u r potetionally faster!
this doesnt determine the driving skill of a pad user. i no i can drive n im quick around the track but im peanalized cuz i dont hav a wheel! (and dont hav the £300 to spend on such a novelty!)
solution 2 leagues one for pad users and one for wheels. keep the top 20 wheel users to go to acadamy but let the top 10 (or so) pad users go too. do a seperate table so we no where we stand n c how much better we hav to be to get in.

i think ps3 should do a huge ad campaign for there microphones. cause like no one has them and it sucks. i mean i just got rid of the 360 and find the only downside to the ps3 is no one has headset. if playstation 3s started comin with free headsets inside. it would catch on and i think more people would get into the online experience. it worked great for 360 it would work better for ps3.
....food for thought if any1 heres any news id love to here it.

As far as GT is concerned, there is no version yet that can make use of voice directly, so there isn't much point in including a headset for GT right now. This will change once GT5 drops, but it is going to be up to us to ensure we get one that suits how we will connect it and use it. We can't always rely on SONY providing the "right fit" when it comes to good communication.
For example, we can use voice with GT Prologue now, but we need other equipment to make it happen. We can presume that GT5 will make use of the SONY PS3 Bluetooth headset and there are some very nice 3rd party USB wired chat headsets available, such as Tritton's, which won't have the battery problems Bluetooth headsets have (so choose wisely).
We don't know what GT5's chat or in-game info interfaces will be like, but pretty well anyone in a passworded room will benefit from using VoIP. There will be some maturing needed by some players, though, when it comes to accepting using VoIP, but they will survive. Those who are stuck in or choose to be in open rooms will have to deal with it a bit differently, but even then, a good host will help to control unruly players.
Voice has been a big help in on-line races I've been in and it can work with GT, too, so GT-only drivers should start thinking how to deal with voice now, because some of you have no experience with it or have actually avoided using it, in the past. Trust me, using voice is not the end of the world, but there are some nay-sayers still around. Advancements have caught up to you and GT is changing - again - for the better.
There are wiring or Wi-fi issues you need to manage. A good stereo headset design will help block out local noise, some will even have noise-cancellation, to help you hear better. Mono headsets and/or custom sound tracks (background music) may, therefore, be a challenge that some of you will have to rethink while on-line. These are some personal choices and problems you will have to figure out.
Based on other PS3 games, though, I expect GT5 to have very good in-game chatting and features, and you still have a bit of time to plan for a good experience with voice. My suggestion is to not leave it to the last minute and use Prologue to learn about some of them early.

If this is to be the ultimate racing simulator, (and with the amount of time we have all been waiting it HAS to be) then I would love the inclusion of custom helmet designs. Im not talking about 10-20 pre set designs here, theres alot of us out there and all we'd see is other drivers with the same helmet (i hate the mere thought of somethig like that). Think the Forza 3 livery editor. Now im a fan of the Forza series (hey it's been a long wait) and there are some incredible Forza artists out there. Just think of the possibilities.
Oh and in *Championship mode* (i.e WRC, NASCAR, IRL {if this does make it in to the game}) id like to see full rules/weather, flags and a safety car (for the longer races).
Although being so close to release i guess this is more wishful thinking. Come on Polyphony i can't be the only person to think of this stuff.

Right i dunno if this has being mentioned or not but here is my suggestion.
I think when selecting reverse in manual mode you should be able to go to it as a gear by shifting down.
so it would be: 1st - neutral - R insted of just hitting triangle.

Agreed!! Also the clutch should be able to properly slip and able to stall the car. Realism!
