Re: The Suggestions Box

  • garage option on special stage route x menu
  • drag race option on special stage route x on online mode
  • more effects on photo mode
  • what about larger brake kits option?
  • new rims
  • new trophies/ another platinum trophy (that was easy) :smileytongue:
  • another creative option as photos...like unique helmet customization would be a good idea.. remember 'unique' is attractive..
  • continue adding new cars as new DTM's , Le Mans and WRC's

Re: The Suggestions Box

- Grid Starts

- Possibility to set a race against your Bspec drivers

- Possibility to race against regular AI with rewards on any track / cars

- Possibility to run out of fuel completely (for hardcore players)

- More Rims

- More wings, sideskirts etc

- Mileage counter on the hud (was in GT3)

- Possibility to take out any upgrades installed

- Paint Shop (wouldnt mind using 1.5 mil Cr on a chrome paint)

- Possibility to drive on dirt or snow tracks with comfort tires (We do drive on dirt with regular road legal tires in Finland during summer)

- More Photomode options, like having more cars on scene at time

- Flag rules

- fixes over sounds (I dont like when my stock Toyota 2000GT sounds exact the same than Mini Cooper&Autobianchi with racing exhaust system)

- More Seasonals like we had, for Kei class, Coupe's, Station Wagons

Keep up the good work

Re: The Suggestions Box

I haven't read all the other posts cause (a) it's too long and (b) I can't be bothered so I don't know if anyone has suggested this yet and this probably won't get read, but anyway I propose that we have a drift points system in place so we know how good everyone else is at drifting. When you go in an online drift lobby you have a list of all the people in that lobby, when the names fade to show the cars they are driving it should then fade to show how many points they have earned while in other online drift lobbies(which will only work on drift lobbies, not race ones or free run ones). The drift scoring system will be the same as the one in the seasonal drift events(spin out or go off the track and you lose the drift combo) I think this idea will make drifting on GT5 even better because currently there are no ways of telling or judging how good a person is at drifting. Well that's it really this probably won't even get listened to anyway, but I like to get my ideas out there.

Re: The Suggestions Box

Why not? It'd add somehting extra to the game. The Reliant would be another 'comedy car', the vans would be interesting, and the traffic/speed limits thing would only be part of a certain mode. These shouldn't be hard to add, and wouldn't affect anyone who chooses not to use these. :manindifferent:

Re: The Suggestions Box

[ Edited ]

Since Gran Turismo 6 is set to be launched once the next Playstation is on the market, I did some brain storming regarding to improvements that I find relevant to the future of Gran Turismo series. Constructive criticism is always welcome, uneducated opinions will be disregarded.

Suggestions for future Gran Turismo series:

  • Ability to create and manage your own team
    This consists of:
Spoiler
  • Once you start career mode, before any races take place, you're required to pick a name for your team
  • As you go further in the game, you will be able to change your team uniforms / colors and possibly hire new crew members
  • After each championship / category of races, part of the money goes to salaries of said crew members, and if they don't get payed they can quit the team or become unhappy* , therefore affecting your progress in game.
(just like B-Spec pilots get when they are put into much stress on GT5*)
  • Direct sale
Spoiler
Possibility to sell cars to your friends or other people directly with a custom price set (restrictions can be applied so players of certain levels cannot sell over powered cars to beginner players, eg: Selling a level 20 car to a level 1 player)
-All this through a Open Market option / menu on your GT Home maybe?
  • Customization (depending on the new console capacity)
this is a sensitive subject because customization involves a lot of things that should be taken into account, such as use of inappropriate images ( we all seen a lot of CoD: Black Ops emblems...)
Spoiler
  •  Custom number cars (ability to buy a decal and install it on your car, racing modified or not)
  •  Paint jobs (bought or unlocked by challenges)
  •  Sponsor decals (unlocked on events maybe?)
  • Shape Decals & Layers (The same type like we seen on another game titles such as Need For Speed, and the ability to change the color of said decals, OR basic shapes like squares, triangles, circles, etc, to allow users to make their own shapes )
  •  Paint layers on rims (eg: ability to paint the arrows of one color and the outline on another)

Suggestion for an Advanced B-Spec mode:

I've seen games like Football Manager (not a fan of football myself), so I was wondering... what If we had something like that but for Gran Turismo? Here's a list of few stuff that I think it would improve B-Spec mode:

  • Ability to select  name and surname from a large list alphabetically ordered
  • Once you hire your driver you need to submit him to driving test(s)

Spoiler
(sort of like the licenses we already have for A-Spec, but all challenges would be Time Trials with certain cars, possibly GT Academy cars?)

  • The outcome of said tests would define his personality
Spoiler
(Cornering, speed, reflexes, hot / cool... stuff that we already get to see when we hire a B-Spec pilot on GT5, would now be shown after trainings)
  • Ability to exchange B-Spec pilot contracts with other players
Spoiler
The same way you trade paints and parts, you would be able to set a value for your B-Spec driver's contract and trade with someone on your friends list (or possibly in a Open Market ?)
  • B-Spec drivers who are not happy will mean trouble for the player
Spoiler
Eg: If you push him to hard and he becomes unhappy, the driver may ask for a raise on his salary (if salary system is implemented), and if the player denies him his salary he may quit the team or perform bad in the races he takes part on.

This is all I got at the moment...

Re: The Suggestions Box

Allowing friends to race Endurance races as well, i.e. pit in, select a friend from a drop down menu, (like tyre selection), online friends highlighted, they get a message, if they want to accept, if they do all good if not you get a msg asking whether you want to save or continue.
