A new DLC track pack would be nice especially ''Midfield Raceway'' which is not in GT5 which kinda disapoints me.

When I asked Kazunori about the missing older tracks, he suggested that PD simply ran out of time, and it seems they gave them a low priority, overall. Whether we get it in GT5 as DLC or whether we have to wait for GT6 to get it, remains to be seen, but my guess is that PD is saving it for GT6.

Re: The Suggestions Box

My suggestion is that when you enter the 'garage' it tells you somewhere on the screen the total value of your garage (the total sum of all the values of every car in the garage) it would just be cool to know.

Re: The Suggestions Box

One thing i'd like to see. Instead of having every crummy little Mazda mx-5 released in different specs and sold to different parts of the world, why not make up the 1047 cars with interesting makes like,

Ariel

Ascari

Bristol

Donkervoort

Ginetta

Gumpert

Koeniggegg

Morgan

Noble

Wiesmann

Zenvo

 . . . . . . . I could go on.

But about 60% of the cars on the game are Japanese. I don't mind that in it's self but we really don't need 22 models of the Mazda MX-5. When we could have a 1000hp Koenigsegg CCX.

Re: The Suggestions Box

This is my first post here and I don't know if I'm actually bringing up thing's that have been mentioned before.

1.  I would love to see PD bring out the Bathurst race track (Bathurst 1000) in a DLC or added as a track in the game. I know I'm biased being from Oz but it is one of the worlds great race tracks and televised all over the world when the race is on.

2.  There has been a lot of comment about saving an endurance race over a long period of time. Thankfully PD did bring in this feature so everyone other than the diehards, (I mean that with no disrespect) can complete these lengthy events. I'll give you my current status below but, will PD bring in the option of continuing with the current saved game, or give you the option to go into the normal game. By that I mean when you start GT5, you have the option to continue your endurance race now or the next time you start GT5 or the time after or the time after that. Essentially the option to restart your saved endurance race when you want to.

Personally, I love GT5. Options for everyone. I'm no slouch as a driver but I don't compete online because I'm beneath all the young guys out there and don't want to annoy anyone. It doesn't mean I'm not competetive, I love to win, but I'm 54 yrs old but my reflexes can't match that of even someone 20 yrs younger than myself.

I've completed the B-spec events - level40 , (before the save feature was introduced and luckily my PS3 came through unscathed without grinding online I might add) and I'm just shy of level 38 in A-spec. I've completed 4 of the endurance races, (by the way I've acheived gold in everything before) and I'm currently doing the Suzuka endurance race which I started 4 days ago with 69 laps to go ( from 172 laps). Currently, I'm lucky to squeeze in an hour a day to play GT5. For me to do one of the 24hr races it will possibly take me up to a month( 30-31 days) to complete. For me that's fine, but then I have to catch up on the Seasonal Events. Again that's fine. But what about the people that have kids that like to have a go at GT5 while their Dad is in the middle of a 24hr race?

Now the diehards might say that if you can't do the race, don't do it. But anyone with a competetive bone in their body is going to give it a go. And if you have kids, do you need a second PS3. That's daft.

Anyway, is there any chance that PD will alter the save function on Endurance Races so that it can be accessed at any time other than start-up of GT5.

Re: The Suggestions Box

[ Edited ]

Welcome to the GT forum, dash-riprock57!

Why are you worrying about your age? I've heard of drivers in their nineties playing GT, and you are also years younger than myself and a whole bunch of other drivers I play with on-line. There is also a lot of GT players who are handicapped, one way or another, but who always do the best they possibly can. If they can do it, so can you. No excuses. Get playing on-line and don't ignore racing with the younger ones. Use them to keep sharp!

All you have to do is build up your friends list and then you will always be able to easily find people that you found to be good drivers around you. Meet the forum members during the weekly races run here, such as Sucker Free Sunday events. SFS was designed to help drivers just like you get comfortable on-line. Yes, the drivers are good, but it won't take you long to get up to speed with them, too. They will help you, but they won't run you off the road, in the meantime, either. Build up your confidence and it will forever change your life, and the more drivers who accept the challenges of racing on-line, the better off we all will be.

So, you see it isn't your age that is holding you back, it's how you play the game.

Although it is not impossible that PD won't change how GT restarts from a saved race, they have left it this way over a few versions, so don't get your hopes up.

Bathurst is a great track to race on. I spent many hours on it in ToCA 3, including racing with a few wicked fast aliens, I mean Aussies. We will most likely get it in a future edition of GT, because PD know we want it, so hang around until we do get it.
