yeah i think those cars are f*cked up. when i say decals i dont mean stock ones by the sponsors (those i admit add a certain something), but this custom art wannabe thing.an yes that ruins a ferrari. u think u know better than ferrari itself?and that u sort of improve a car by doing this? i cant say its easy or anything, but i dont think i has a point!
as i said in my latest post if u still like it so much buy forza in 2 weeks. that kinda thing isnt gonna happen in gt5, like it or not
(and what r rhose robots?this aint a fight so u can win it and post things like that. its just a disagreement.)

Ok.
Number 1. You wont be able to import pictures into GT5, Why would PD bother creating realistic cars with deep looking paintwork, perfect detail, and high definition 1080p graphics, if they where going to let you lot stick your Microsoft clipart allover it.
It wont match into the cars and it will litrally look like it is not part of the car, it wont happen how ever you look at it, use your brains guys.
Second of all, Mr LeoTyphoon7, For some people their art canvas is the cars, and their are big money prizes on Forza's community site, that are given to just those people, and sometimes Turn 10 even pay to have the cars made in real life, to honour those artists. Its not a case of improving cars its a case of making something. Just because these people have taken the time to create their art on cars doesnt mean its not right. And if one of those cars happens to be a Ferrari then so be it.

Now personaly its not my taste but their is someone out their that paid a fortune for this car desighn. And at the end of the day its not for you to judge, because one you will never own a Veyron, and 2 its just not your desision to make wether it is right or wrong.
So you can say, and I quote
"as i said in my latest post if u still like it so much buy forza in 2 weeks. that kinda thing isnt gonna happen in gt5, like it or not"
But you need to think again as Kaz has already said GT5 will have a livery editor, they couldn't release it without it, as people who would want to by GT5 for that reason would go and buy Forza 3. So like it as it is happening.
So How about being as you dont like livery editors, then you dont buy GT5, to save your self the hassle of skipping past it in the menu system.

excellent post above one of the first to talk sense not just this is my point like it or your an idiot
anyway hope to keep up the common sense with this
people arguee about rude/obscene images on cars so how about this you import pics onto a gt5 website then download onto your game if it is rude people have the ability to eport and have you banned from uploading or downloading pics
then if there is an auction house type thing again same principles and reported people are banned
after this you can also after a race report someone for bad driving / rude images for this they get a caution one and start last in every race as the dont care about racing obviously one more caution and they are banned from racing online
harsh probably fair definetly
also everyone should be able to have there own idea of what a car looks like if that is their favourite racing team who are you to stop them
and seeing as a livery editor is already in gt5 why not make it as good as it could be? why go half hearted?

Not fussed about whether theres a livery editor or not, think polyphony digital make the cars look as great as they ever could be, but i also appreciate a good artist could add a gulf racing livery to a GT40 and i would want that.
But i dont want to be racing along and see cars covered in obscene images or swear words because some schoolboy thought it was hillarious, so maybe a voting system where liverys are uploaded by users and they are voted on by other users before they can be used in the game and this would allow users to report obscene or abusive scrawlings by adolescent morons.
And perhaps an option in the menu simply allowing you to switch off edited liverys, so to you the game would just show the basic car as polyphony made it and to others it would show the livery over the car

yeah a few people seem to have the idea of a voting system and i think this is a really good idea
most people seem to disagree with decals not cause they dont like them but because theyve seen something badly done or rude on a car a voting system would show we are more mature than those on forza and dont mess around with what someone has taken time to give us to use for our pleasure not to insult other people

I dont think the Forza creators worry so much about obscene images, I mean its all circles and different other shapes, and layers which make up the images that are on the Forza cars.
I think a Livery editor would be good.
And should probably just follow a similar way of Forza, just a bunch of shapes, colours and layers.
I'm assuming that the community with GT5 will be massive, probably bigger than Forza 3's.
So I dont think 'voting' or uploading designs is the way forward, just leave it to the players to report indecent images.
