246BHP Madrid City / Reverse Time Trial

I finally managed a time of 1:42.1

I struggled in an Elise... just could keep it on the track.

Managed a little better in a FR MX-5.

Finally decided to switch to a 4WD in an attempt to stick to the road a bit better, a CZ-3 Tarmac...

Did the Red Bull on in a standard X2010 and I managed a time of 1:04.83 with traction control turned off.

damned hard TTs but good fun all the same. I still hate that Madrid track though, whichever way I go around it

That Whizzy little Suzuki GSX-R/4 is definitely the car to go for on the Madrid track.

I too was struggling to do a 1:40 with the Elise.

Jumped in the Suzuki and got down almost straight away to a 1:35.9. Managed to get down to a 1:35.1 which got me into the top 1000 I then preceded to run out of talent.  I find that chicane on the start finish straight harder in the reverse direction.

I really don't like the Red Bull so I was a complete mercenary with that one, went round in 1:12 got the gold prize money and parked it!.

^^ The Suzuki? The weight probably needs increasing to 800kg. Go into ballast in the car setup and bump it up. Also check the BHP is on or near the limit.

I did a 1:38.ish with the Suzuki but I know I can get it down to 1:36 if I would brake properly down to turn 1 and stop killing the tyres on another corner later on, heh.

I've got the GSXR4 but I've fully mod'd it and even the ballast can't get it back up to 800kg...

That's strange. Are you sure you have the right tyres fitted?

Thanks guys, everything is sorted now except the weight so I can't enter. The max I can get it is 788Kg. I am guessing it has had a weight reduction, this is only a guess though as someone sent it to me and I can't remember who

GSXR4 = noob car

Admit I had to use 4wd Peugeout 205 Turbo for the job, still being better choice than a nooby car which were used by everyone who screams scared for the challenge, shame.

I found Madrid no bother in the Elise. I touched a few barriers the first couple of laps the invalidated me but even with a half spin managed under the time.

Although it was a carI had set up for drifting so I was sliding it around the tighter corners and hair pin and keeping the speed up. But it was the closest in the garage to the limits, I was close enough the first few laps that Iinvalidated so just reset the gears better and kept going until I got a clean lap. .
