Trouble

My comrades and I have trouble seeing each other when we run race, but not when we are in "the lounge". For example, if we have 4 players, then one of us only see 3 players on the track.
We are all friends via PSN and live within a radius of 20 km.

 

Are there others with the same problem and a possible solution?
