Hey there,

You have a US copy of the game. You have purchased DLC from the AU PS Store - only a disc with the region code BLES will recognise this content.

We'd advise if you believe you were purchasing an Australian copy of the game, that you take it back to the retailer to discuss swapping it for an Australian copy.

I've now decided to ebay my GT5 and purchase the Aussie version. A real pain as I have lots of rewards, cars and credit points. Also, I've finished most of the races. A real shame and lesson to us all to check which version we buy before handing our money over to the stores.

i dont believe you will loose all your saves, everything should still work when you get the auzi version
you really should take it to EB there is no way they should be selling the US version without telling you
if you infact bought it as a new copy, i would say that they got that as a trade in but sold it to you as new.
i dont like EB and will never buy from them because of experiences i have had with them

I have had the same problem, though upon putting the new disc in to play it reinstalled all the patches etc and i have lost all of my saves. I can still see my save and trophies in the cross media bar. is there a way to restore my earlier saves with all my race wins and credits, licences etc?

I had same problem. I got rid of the USA version and replaced with Aust. Version. After installation all my achievements, cars, credits were gone. I had to start from scratch. I didn't find anyway of pulling my USA saves through. Eventually I deleted the whole thing and started again completely new and fresh. But now I can use the DLCs I purchased, and that is my reward.

I believe your save file is locked to your account, so I thin kthere is an issue with verification going from one region disk to another.

You will probably have to start again.
