if u manage to get the mods to sticky this one then maybe a different thread for each model of car should be started.. that way u can go right to the car u want and people can just state which track as part of there set up post !! meaning ud have the car type and all types of tracks to compair to in the one thread rather than serching through a huge thread of mixed cars/tracks..!
excellent idea to the 1st post to start this in any shape of form, i'm in

How about it Mods? Can we have this thread stickied? Perhaps if we get one thread per track or the most requested then we can post car set ups in there no?
Question to the Guru's out there? How do you overcome a car spining under acceleration? I got a DB9 and TVR that perform well with the straights and tight bends but as soon as you accerlerate on a sweeping curve I spin, I try to be gentle on the pedal but if you go too slow you are last, lol.

Yeah crow, Dodge has the same problem, alot of power at the weels.
What i always do is keep the throttle at like 80% and i can make smooth but fast turns ![]()

i think we need to be very careful in here,if we are posting set-ups made by somebody else, then we really need to give credit to who made the set!! he are some suzuka Nissan GTR R35 set-ups....

Here's the setup I use for my beloved bomb...
Dodge Viper GTS

CIRCUIT: SUZUKA 600PP
Power: 400bhp (-11)
Weight: 1333kg (85%)
Ride Height -30 Front -37 Rear
Spring Rate: 7 Front 3 Rear
Damper: 6 Front 2 Rear
Toe -0.50 Front +0.50 Rear (yeah it is extreme)
Camber: 0 Front 1.0 Rear
Brake Balance 5 Front 5 Rear
Gearing:
2.660 1st
1.588 2nd
1.180 3rd
1.000 4th
0.844 5th
0.596 6th
Diff: 3.45:1
Now the car in this stage is understeery, but it bites very well through the esses. I wanted to dial out some of the front-end sharpness which inevitably leads to power oversteer, hence the silly toe front and rear. The car still gets a bit twitchy from time to time, but it's much easier to control. Full 1st gear power launches are no prob, you still lose to the baby brigades, but the car has massive torque and you can pull out of the Suzuka hairpin in 2nd gear, plant the foot and watch the rear light up. Only if you're too ambitious will you lose the rear end.
I've been driving it for weeks now and I'm at the stage where I've found a useable setup that can punch times with the best of them, but I still find it a struggle to keep up with a good driver in a good car. The Viper is a novelty for me, I don't drive it to win, but at the very least, I'm competitive in it and besides, I love the sound of an 8 litre on full song!

Cheers for the setups Raybrig and Aero I'll certainly give 'em a go.
The way you talk about your Viper Aero is the way I feel about the DB9 and the TVR but unlike you I'm not at all competitive, lol.
