That's it I have done my last trade on gt5 I got £30 for it and good ridden's, no more short changed racing on second rate tracks in poxy half arsed challenges, no more dictatorships telling what car I can or can not have (I get enough of that in REAL LIFE,)

Depending how long you had the game for, you may well have SAVED money on renting for the same amount of time.

I bought it when when it came out I had it pre-order for three years, I was gutted when I first played it but thought updates would come to improve it, I have completed it in one profile and had started three more to build a garage up, now this downgrade sorry update spoiled that so I'm gone I'll just have wait for shift 2 and hope that's better.

I see your point and of course it is disappointing when a much longed for game doesn't fit expectations (I was like it with the last Silent Hill game).

Whilst it is your choice what you do with the game of course, I can't help feeling GT5 is different from other games.

It seems to me, the updates aren't so much *fixing* the game, more *evolving* it.

I'm not sure March 3rd is the last word on the trading system and it may well be changed and suit people better.

I have complained about companies throwing out unfinished and not properly tested games before, Black Ops being the best example, and using the paying customers as beta testers then rolling out fixes via updates.

With GT5 I feel more like they have released a game that cannot be finished on release as such, that is not the creators vision.

It is more like a snapshot of his vision at that time and it continues to evolve and change through updates.

Then again, maybe I should put less sugar in my coffee.

I am pretty sure we might get something cool instead of just gifting, tho that share with friends option does work too, I do wonder why wont people use that instead of gifting expensive cars without receiving anything back.

GT5 will be updated even after 3rd March, who would have guessed how popular remote racing feature becomes anyways ? (one good feature they gave after game was released)

I think that just comes down to what people are used to.

To my knowledge, that feature was only working after one of the recent updates.

Once people can't do expensivce trades I'm sure it will become more popular.

Not just on console, but on PC too. Black Ops didn't support dual core, was playing it major slowdowns sometimes. Thought my PC was getting on a bit. Completed it, then they released a dual core update and ran smooth. Brilliant. :-/ I could understand if dual core is a new tech, first game to support it, but been out years. Sloppy work.

About two hours ago I traded the Pescarolo Judd Race Car for the Suzuki Drift Trial Ca, so obviously the patch hasn't come into effect yet...

It was on effect, but it has been disabled for a while... I have read it on my PS3 GT5 news screen just an hour ago.
