VETTEL CHALLENGE - FED UP AND NEED GOLD

Please, before people moan about how i havnt searched the web for help because help is everywhere, and I suppose your all fed up of hearing about these challenges, please just read on!

I have been doing the vettel challenge constantly for about a week now and have nearly broke my controller, tv and skull on several occasions in rage at this stupid stupid challenge!!!

I have searched everywhere, looked at every "guide" on youtube and its still a complete joke. What were they thinking even putting this challenge into the game, its way too difficult!! Not only is it too difficult but I feel it ruins the game by putting this in! Try going back to a normal car after driving this for a week! The car isnt even a real car so it should not be in the game!

Everyone also says that a steering wheel is needed, but personally i think it would be harder, I think it would take too long to get used to and im not going to spend money on one just to gold these challenges. I condiser myself an exellent DS3 user and Ive always said I will keep using it but im getting so desperate now I will try anything APART from downgrade (so i can use the glitches).

Now, I have managed GOLD on Monza, and got SILVER on the Nurburgring with a time of 2:08.566 (gold being 2:08), and I havent even attemped Suzuka yet.

As Ive said I have done this contantly and just not getting anywhere, personally it seems its all about luck rather than skill, the car is way too fast and the grip is too much, so you just cannot react in time to get perfect lines and/or correct even slight mistakes. For example I can do half a lap perfect then the next corner take wrong and lose half a second and then ruins my time for gold, so restart then the corner I lost time on I get it 100% perfect then the next corner fails me! I can do every corner perfect, just not all together over two laps! I just do not have the concentration for this ****.

To be honest this is my last resort, I really really wanted to gold them without help or come begging for it, I know I am a really good driver and this is all Ive got to do to get platinum. But I am just so desperate now it kills me to admit failure!

Im asking please anyone if there any any cheats / glitches anything I can do to pass these (I am on the latest version) or any proper solid ways of beating the times. As ive said I have looked up every guide I can find, and feel i cannot practice anymore after doing nearly a week of nurburgring solid!

Honeslty im that desperate ill pay for someone to come to my house and do it for me. I want platinum!

Any help PLEASEE??!!

don't give up.

ds3 user myself. monza gold, nürburgring gold (~2 weeks). suzuka still silver. i've been trying for about 1 month now and ~0,3sec away from gold. gold is 2.10 and i've done 1. lap in ~1.05,5 and  2. lap ~1.04,3. the problem is... not consecutively :smileyhappy:

edit: and i don't consider myself good driver. mediocre at best (on a good day) :smileyhappy:

How much you paying :smileywink:?

On a serious note just keep at it, don't think about the corner your on, think about the next sequence of corners, where you want the car to be and how you want the car to react. It is about skill this challenge, as well as reaction time and the ability to think quickly in a given situation.

Re: VETTEL CHALLENGE - FED UP AND NEED GOLD

I have to agree with the others here just keep at it is the only way. I know of no cheats or glitches sorry also Suzuka was easyiest of the three for me nurburgring the hardest.

Your right It is very hard this chalenge but so it should be in my opinion to drive two near perfect laps in a F1 car is going to be really hard so this imense machine will be even harder.

The reward is pretty good and the feeling you get when you finnaly beat it is worth the frustration and anger you may be feeling now.

Do you have a friend who could lend you a wheel if you dont want to buy one I think you would find it easyer to beat this challenge with a couple of hours to get familiar with the wheel.

On the subject of wheel or DS3 I was hopeless at this with the DS3 but was also not quick enough with my Logitech G25 wheel untill i saw a video on you tube of someone doing it with the same wheel.

I was shocked at how aggressive and violent you have to be with the wheel on turn in and the speed you have to carry into corners. Driving the X2010 is like nothing else being smooth is no good you have to be very aggressive and i could only achieve this with a wheel. My normal driving style is smooth slow in fast out technique but this just doesnt work for me with this car. It took me nearly a weak of continual practice / failure in total to pass this challenge.

Everybody NEEDS gold but just accept your not good enough and take what you can get.

I was more then happy settling for all bronze. Because that is my skill level.

Re: VETTEL CHALLENGE - FED UP AND NEED GOLD

Learn to ease off just ever so slightly on some bends as that can gain you grip rather than having to brake. It really is just a case of practice practice practice until it all comes together for that one lap.

Once you do it you will be delighted with yourself!

I think you need to look into attending an anger management course.

Re: VETTEL CHALLENGE - FED UP AND NEED GOLD

The first time i started this challenge on the nurburgring track i crashed into the barrier before i got out of the pits. Such was the difference in control to normal cars. I use DS3 to and dont have the money for a wheel.

When i had tried this challenge a few times and got to know how much effort it would take to gold it i made the decision not to try any more because the stress would not be worth a little gold trophy picture on a screen. Thats my approach to all trophies on all games. Games are for fun. If you start freaking out trying to get them then its not worth it.
