Can't create a Delorean with a flux capacitor, can't unlock KITT, can't get someone to ride in the passenger seat armed with a gun, and can't kit your car out with Bond style gadgets.
And now to cap it all off you can't back up your save files
Man this game really sucks...I'm gonna cancel my pre-order, sell my PS3, and go buy a spectrum to re-live the glory days of playing the Hobbit
"Tell Gandalf to kill Thorin" ![]()

i wouldn't be that shocked if this game is one of the first that gets linked with the cloud service when it appears, as it is a big game and back ups would be nice.
The cloud service might also keep the game saves linked to user accounts to stop people sharing too.
Just a thought though of course.
It might be too much of a good thing to happen any time soon ![]()

You've never wanted to take your progress in a game with you to a friends or to a second console?
How about this then? You are 90% through GT5 and your console gets YLOD, you don't have a backup. You're screwed! Start at the beginning again.
Accept it or not. Failures happen, Corruption happens and save files get broken. I understand the need to copy protect the save files but an alternative should be offered.

I'm guessing you've never had your PS3 ylod on you and lose all your game saves and progress, it's not a game you cam complete in under 20 hours, with a game as large as GT5 if you were say 80% through the game and your PS3 died on you it would be sickening as it could take months to get back to where you were in the game. Still not a reason not buy the game though.

It's because she's immature and acts 5 years old so everything has to be perfect for her.
I don't mind copy protection so much, it stops people shortcutting their way to where others have to work for. The problem comes down to Sony who don't provide an efficient way to back it up.

My PS3 hasn't had the ylod yet and if it happens I wouldn't be screwed. Why would I have to start my game again if I get the ylod? Is it because I have to buy a new one? Because if you say yes to both if them question then your a muppet. Because you can just get your old one fixed that only takes a few mins, so your saved games will still be there
