GT6 is a joke online is utterly unplayable pd are completely neglecting there loyal customers and havent fixed any of the continual problems, and I wont be getting gt7 if they carnt maintain gt6 I am utterly disgusted by the glitch riddled and incompetent joke that I have found myself the butt of! I am not there cash cow! ive bought every gt game since day one but I will BOUYCOT GT7
Hi. I wanted to open a Nascar room in the Open Lobby for one make races. Annoyingly there are no Nascar racing cars in the one make section. If there had been I'd have all the driving assists switched off and of course there would be no options to adjust car settings. This would stop faffing about and members would get blued up immediately. Most importantly, everyone would be in equal cars. I'd like to see some of these Nascar hotshots compete against equal cars and then we'd see whose truly a good driver. If anyone's going to rubbish my post, it'll be those that are'nt much good without elaborate changes to the settings. Happy racing all.
I'm trying to adjust my Thrustmaster T150 to the updated GT6, and I cannot find the wheel in the controller's
settings. Should anyone has any suggestion?
Thank you in advance,
Aye I'm new here well not to the Gran Turismo franchise but I never got a chance to play online for GT5 because I got the game too late. So I got GT6 and I need to know if online is great before I plan to update the game or if the servers are shut down(Or when they will shut down)
Hi there. Welcome to our lil corner of the PlayStation Community.
The Gran Turismo 6 servers are indeed still available. But no news of when they will be shutdown. It will be at least another year at a guess.
Online can be the best part of the game, if you find good people to race with.@Coolshade20
If you got the Game, as you say - just update it and play.
Yes, the Servers will be shut down eventually as it was for GT5.. but to when is anyone's guess.
Last time I was online, the game was Oki... worked fine and it's always worth a drive!!
Thank you so much bro you really helped me out!@RenegadeXtreme
Make sure that you follow PDI's update instructions stickied at the top of this forum.
@RenegadeXtremedidn't want to start a new thread so thought I would post here.
Did you ever get round to doing a beginners guide to a driving set up? Looking at some bits at the moment to put into the games room and reading some bits online.
Are you getting a wheel??
I would say, look at the space you require to make a set up first.... this will determine on what you can do...
Next.... get a Driving Seat from a car.... I use a SAAB seat..... very comfortable!!
You really need a proper driving seat... sofa won't feel natural at all.
Then you can build a frame around it... either metal or wood.... there are some popular ones made with Plumbing Pipes.... or you may buy a pre-built Rig..... DIY is the cheaper option.
GTPlanet has some Threads on Driving Rigs... there are some great designs there. Might be worth a look.
I am looking into it at the moment, no guarantee but will see what the misses says.
Have seen these sort of set ups that look nice
Is a lot of money though so am going to do some research and see what my options are.
It will help me get this GT racing license stuff ha@S2N-Ava
You can pick up a Seat from a Scrap Yard....
Tell them that you are making a Rig for gaming.... and they will sell you the seat at a cheaper price... worked for me....
This SAAB Leather Seat came at a super ridiculous low price as he was impressed that it was going towards a Rig.
I almost bought a Jag seat.....
When I was looking for a seat, there was a nice Jag seat available, but it was all electric. Too much hassle with adjusting the driving positions... needs power!!
The Saab seat was my second option... non-powered. Black n Red Leather... looks like a seat, feels like a seat and is dead comfortable..... can seat in that seat for +8 hours and stills feels comfortable.... no aches and pains.
The Playseat is a cool entry level rig.
Most seem to like it, with probably the biggest design complaint being that centre post out towards your feet, but otherwise no real issues and it gets good reviews.
I guess it depends on your main considerations - be that cost, space, design, quality, etc.
A super easy setup could be the Playseat Challenge.
It just depends if you are looking for something more substantial.
Regarding wheels, and also for @castaway666, this video is one of the best going for PS4 options.
There are also links to all the wheels individual reviews in the video description.
(I'll add the 2016 line-up video as well, only because it has the Thrustmaster T80 included)
Thanks for posting them videos, really helpful.
The Playseat Challenge does seem to be a good starting point so I may look into one of those, plus being able to fold it away will keep the misses happy I think.
The wheels are certainly a bit more complicated. Don't want to spend loads on one in case I don't enjoy it as much as I think I will but don't want to get a cheap one that will impact the experience. The T150 or T300 are probably what I am leaning towards (want the 3 pedals and maybe the GT version) but will watch the video again and have a look at some other information as well.
The main thing for me at the moment is that I will have to change my driving style completely. I currently use automatic and behind the car camera view which won't really work with a wheel. Maybe having the wheel will make me enjoy the more first person view point though.
I may start a GoFundMe page support my ambition to get the GT Racing License stuff ha@Tassie_tiger
I bought my wheel last year.. there was not the selection that we have today... my old Logitech wheel was not supported on the PS4.
Went for the T300 Thrustmaster (compatible with PS3) - wasn't too concerned with the Pedals as mine are already set up.... 3 Pedals from the older Logitech setup... taken out of the casing and set to hang down as in a normal car... works great.
$20 adaptor from the States and they simply fitted into the Thrustmaster base unit.
Good luck with the wheel... T300 is a good bit of kit.... I'd recommend that one if you don't want to spend major bucks.
I'm definitely looking at the wheel option, maybe later in year.
