The original nurburgring before the changes, like the removing of humps, the hedges at the side of the track, no barriers and of course the jumps on the straight near dottinger hohe to teirgarten this could even be called vintage nurburgring.

I would really love to see Australian v8 supercars and also the Australian tracks especially Bathurst and Phillip Island.
I hope GT dont let Forza 3 (XBOX 360 only) take the thunder by being the only game available with v8 supercars.

Good suggestions in this thread.
I'm not sure if the game should include every single racing genres from WRC to F1, I've always thought Gran Turismo more as a street car game. Maybe they should release rally, F1, etc. games separately like Gran Turismo: racing -line?
I'd like to see some point to point roads too in GT5 with varying weather conditions and day/night time, also it would be nice to have free roaming mode in some city tracks with other traffic, you'd have to obey the traffic rules and avoid crashing to other cars or people.
Cars which I'd like to see in GT5:
- Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am, especially the 3rd gen (1982-1992), preferrably the original '82 Trans-Am with PMD-seats & T-top. If possible, a K.I.T.T. version from Knight Rider with the supercool digital dashboard & monitors would be awesome to drive, especially with the turboboost, skimode an all
I'd settle for KITT replica too.
- Chevrolet Camaro from the same era, the T/A and Camaro are in Forza 3 and because of that i'm quite tempted to buy XBOX360 & Forza 3 just because I like these cars so much ![]()
- More American classic cars such as Chevrolet Bel-Air 1955-57
- Used European & American cars along with used Japanese cars.
As was already suggested the realistic auto vs manual transmission, in real life changing the gearbox from auto to manual & vice versa is huge job to do so it shouldn't be a simple choice done by click of a button in driving simulator game either.
Maybe in the manual gearbox you'd have to use for example the L2 button for clutch when changing gears, at least optionally in simulation mode but I don't know if there's steeringwheel & pedal controllers with clutchpedal though.
Working odometers and periodical oil changes etc. maintenance would add to the realism as well and working reverse lights should've been in the game from GT1. Also I'd like to hear the engine starter sound in appropriate situations.
Working wipers in raining weather conditions, headlights you could turn on & off yourself, turnsignal lights, etc. the wishlist for perfect driving simulator could go on and on, maybe in future versions all this could be included ![]()
