when they finally put it on the top gear test track it was nowhere near as fast as people expected

or you could look at everyones individual rankings, based on which they like the most. veyron is about 8th on my list and the koenigsegg is 10th narowly beating the f430 scud

well all the Koenigseggs manage to squeeze into the no. 1 spot together on my list, probably followed by the lambogini mercialargo LP640, audi R8, Pagani Zonda F then probably the bugatti veyron, but I think NFS: UC is a good example here (bear with me here) tones of pepole use the veyron, but all the best times are made with the Koenigsegg CCX and the Pagani Zonda, both much lighter, RWD cars (not to mention the CCX looks like a vision from heaven where as the veyron looks like a fat chick in a bikini)

Since when was NFS a good example? They could put a flying tricycle going with the speed of a jet in that game if they wanted too. Fair comparisons of true speed can only be made on a very accurate sim game such as Gran Turismo or Forza.
