Hi Guys,

When I got my sig edition, the lid on the tin had some slight scratches on it (by scratches I mean the paint was scratched to metal). I was a little *****, but I just assumed every sig edition would have some minor imperfections like this from production/trying to get them out quickly.

After some reading around on forums however, it seems that a lot of customers seem to have sig editions with damaged lids. The problem is I've had the game for almost a week now and have opened the game and played. Is there anything I can do to get a new lid? I suppose it's not as badly damaged as some others, but when you pay $300 for a collector's edition it should pretty much be perfect.

Yeah I'm sick and tired of this *****!! Apparently 90% or something like that of 'signature edition' stock was all like that. Mine was badly dinted and I contacted the Sony support team straight away and they sent me out another one.

The problem is that that one's dinted too. Between the first lid being dinted, the major f*#k up Polyphony made with the V1.02 update that gets rid of all the cars in arcade mode and clears all the cars from the new car dealerships in GT mode and the second lid being dinted as well I'm just so over it. If these clowns were working for me they'd get the sack. Three screw ups in less than a week

Mine was damaged and a replacement sent in just under 1 week. The second that showed up has some blemishes in the paint....not what I would expect from paint and quality that is supposed to replicate Mercedes Benz.....small enough not to be too concerned about and I really coudn't be bothered chasing up another replacement.....I bit dissapointed.

Yep, i'm in the same boat fella's.

The 1st one had 3 dents on the lid, 1 of them on one of the corner lines.

I rang & complained.

A new one arrived this morning, i got all excited, opened it up... the paint finish is terrible... there's what seems to be dust and dirt in the paint, if you run your hand across it you can feel it & you can see it, there's also white specks, like chips in a few spots, plus scuff marks & scratches AND ANOTHER DENT.

I wanna ring up & complain simply cause i don't feel like i'm getting what i paid for, but i don't think it's gonna do anything except end up with a 3rd poorly finished lid.
