I think it may be for the licence test as all racing drivers have to start from somewhere can you please tell me what you guys think?

Could be yes and I think it would be nice if there is a Go-Kart Championship (or Championship's) in the career mode as well as the licence tests.

Karting on GT5 would be pretty cool. But I doubt it'll be there.

Hopefully it will be proper kart chassis and engines: Like tonykarts with rotax engines on them.

I am looking forward to this feature and my view is that this could be where the track creator / editor comes in it would be far more manageable to create Kart tracks i think this would make for good close racing. Either way its another great feature to a awesome looking game.

Yeah ive been under a rock. Has it actually been properly confirmed?? As in officially from Sony or a Sony Press Conference. Cos unless it has, history tells us not to believe anything otherwise lol

GT5 is going to be massive and take a long time to complete. Who knows?

The Licence tests should cover some of the content included, but with over 1,000 vehicles and who knows how many tracks, a few are going to have to be ignored. I kind of doubt something like a kart would be ignored, though, because it is new and quite different content. PD has led us through different tests to teach us things, too, but it remains to be seen how organised it will be. Karts may end up in something like GT5's Coffee Break, too.
