lol just been on the other forum GTP and seen all the complaints about seasonal. again!! first that lot was moaning because there was no update. they was carrying on like it was the end of the world. then when seasonal events arrive, they still are moaning.. why is that place full of idiots and moaners lol. if they are not happy then why on earth buy the game? i got no beef whatsoever to be honest. its a game and we will get updates as of when. and for any true gt fan this will not put you off like it does with them in other forum.

so have you nitced the amount of moaning people about this game??? lol

Yep, I noticed and I suspect I know why. Most gamers (not GT fans) want to finish a game quickly (max out A & B Spec) and move to the next. GT5 doesn't lend itself to that method at all. Eventually all the 'quick fix' players will move on and the GT core player will be all that's left. Personally, while I enjoyed the high XP/CR reward in the previous seasonals, I much prefer S7s offerings, especially as they are repeatable.

So what's new? It isn't just the people at GTP forum moaning about everything. Maybe you haven't noticed, but it happens here as well, and on practically other gaming forum known to man.

As your thread title so correctly put it, some people are just never happy, and its impossible to please everyone all of the time. Fact of life.

I'm disappointed with them, it's just way too much of a grind to level up without the old seasonals. They were fine as they were since you couldn't repeat them etc

Agree with Title.

I know GT forum and all but for those that think GT5 is a grind getting through it all Forza 3 on the XBox was just ridicukous to obtain all Gold in all events. Not that the events or AI were particulary hard just the amount of events to do was just well riduculous, heck even i gave up and im not one to give up when it comes to racing games in particular.

I've always thought a game is only a grind if your not enjoying the game and as GT is a driving game ye gota be darn sure you like driving.

Same as shooting or sports games, im not gona buy Tennis games no matter how good they are as i don't like tennis even if its the best tennis game ever.

Although like Forza 3 how to you make a driving game without events that make you want the next trophy or car or whatever ? If you don't include an event type system its just a driving game with cars and tracks, nothing to do but drive the cars on the tracks, even i would get bored of that type of game so it's back to the grind if you want that next trophy or car.

Been this way since gaming and forums became more accesable to gamers. Days gone by you were lucky to ever get an update for a game that did'nt even work, ye just got on with it !

ive not seen so many moaners under one roof. yeh i agree it happens. but that foum is getting silly lol. loads and loads of folk just keep slating it. like i posted before to them. if they are that bothered by it then dont play the damn game or go buy lego racers

Which is the entire point in a driving game. That would be perfectly fine by me, since its the way nearly all sims are already. When the dust settles and all the casuals move onto other games, those left playing will be doing so just to drive the cars and race online, not to max out some meaningless level stat.

The big difference was that before patches were invented, the majority of games could be relied upon to to be finished and working right out of the box, so game-stopping bugs were relatively rare. Now they release broken, unfinished games with promises to patch it later... and half the time, they never bother to do so. Give me the 'old days' any time.

To the OP it all depends what they are moaning about and if what they say is TRUE or not. The main difference between a moan and a complaint is if the point is valid or not.

Forums do have a certain % of complaints but then this is the only way really to get your view known and see if others have the same complaint, otherwise what is the alternative? Put up and shut up?

Saying that moaning over something just for the sake of moaning does not do anyone any favours. What I have seen over the past few days though is that GT5 has a lot wrong with it and doesn't justify it's 6 year development time. Some say GT4 was better.

Trouble with PD/Kaz is that they give no feedback. I think there are a lot of disappointed GT fans out there who are showing their frustration whether they are novice or seasoned GT fans.

I have seen some Videos of the GT academy in the US and I'm sorry to say I'm quite embarrassed as I have defended GT5 in the past.. Before you attack people who you think that just moan is to see if they have a justified complaint or not otherwise you would be seen as just as bad no?

5+ years development, I spose it looks bad but I don't think thay were siting on there asses over at PD- Kaz looks for perfection, work say on one part finished then scraped by Kaz for new idea and then scraped agian... & ran out of time ergo an unfinished game!
So this is why GT6 is allready being put together & you could say 5+ years to make 4/5 finished GT5 and most of the donkey work done for GT6, untill people realise this thay will continue to bad mouth what in all honesty is a remarkable peace of work even if it is still unfinished!
Lots of people don't realise the hard work and time it takes to make there games, Films are are walk in the park compared to game/softwear devlopment!
