Hiya guys. Since the update has anyone else found that the grip in the tyres has gone? Its like driving or was driving on the hard sets of tyres. The grip had just gone.? The steering seems to have lost its "tuen" and dose not seem to be about to sharp turn as before.

As soon as this update came out i couldnt drive the dam cars. I race with some mates as was always a good second or two quicker, since the update im out of it !!

I cannot belive GT has changed so much and ruined what was for me my best ps game, its now gathering dust as i find it just a terrible game. One time i could race a hot lap, slow lap, do wanted with the car, now im just lucky to keep it on the track and and every lap really is my "hot lap"

Why did they change the physics of the driving, for me now the game is ruined, and what did they do?

GT, next update, can we have the game back which i brought.. as im not downloading anything now.

Any help would be gratefull guys

No idea what you're talking about, to be honest. The Spec 2.0 changelog did mention physics tweaks, but they were nothing like the dramatic change you are describing. I've been playing since release, and I can't even tell you exactly what they did change because it feels no different to me now than it did before the update.

Welcome to the GT forum, VillanUK!

Since you had this happen after the latest updates, and since you seem to be the only one affected by this issue, things are pointing towards a corrupted install.

If you haven't made a recent back-up of your progress, then I recommend doing so now.

Then delete and re-install all GT5 updates. Make sure you have the best possible network connection and do not use wireless.

You are not talking about the difference between online and offline racing? Also, check the steering sensitivity if using a controller, or the "amatuer, advanced professional (whatever they are) settigns for steering wheels in options. These amy have gone back to default after update if you changed them before.

Just a few suggestions before reinstalling and whatnot

Thank you MastrGT. Its funny you say this as now the game keeps crashing, which it never did before, so it may well be the issue.

I shall do this tomorrow and update the thread, many thanks for the heads up !!

I know their is the difference between online and offline, but for myself it has been on both, but i noticed more so online as i could not do the same lap times i could before, hence why i felt and still do somthing has changed.

They did change some of the driving Pysics, although some say its easyer tbh, but for me its its bizzare. Im going to remove it and re install.

Deleted, reloaded and indeed i have the game back. My NSX Taka Dome was the car i did all my testing on. Back to laguna and bingo it tail slides like it should, grips like it should and spins off when it should, but thats down to me

Sir, i tip my hat to you, i can at last enjoy the game again. My times are still down, but i have been driving a car with no grip, so need to find my skills again, but at least its down to me again.

hello ...

After big update i had the same problem ....I just saw that i havets cars and i am 1 level . I restored my ps3 and then i made again update..Before this i copied gran turismo backup files and then i put that back in game utility ..... but nothing   this didtn fix my problem !!!
