Re: what do you actually drive?

i learnt in a 1.2 clio of which style i forget (memorable then?) which had absolutely no torque when going at 60mph. my first car was a ford ka, 1.3, which had a nice 3rd gear, great for slip road acceleration. but still a 1.3! it failed its mot because all the suspension mounts were corroded. so i sold it toward my current car, a mk2 fiat punto, 1.2. its a great town car with a tall 5th gear and ive had 95 out of it (according to the satnav, 100+ on the dial) along a stretch of the a19 going north from dishforth. for a 1.2 it pulls well from 60mph + but in a sidewind the steering is uber light. ive driven three other cars, each at croft, porsche cayman, aston v8 roadster and a ginetta g20. and thats my entire car history!

since this is a racing forum it seemed appropriate as most of us here enjoy the automotive industry and cars in general, or at least racing them. what do you drive in real life?

Code for "I've been dying for an excuse to show off my car on this forum, now I've found a way that this is possible."

And I drive a bike, cages are nice and all, but there is no greater thrill that riding a nice powerful bike.

Re: what do you actually drive?

I drove a KIA Soul 400+ Km on the weekend, during pouring rain.

(Nice car, lousy lumbar support.)

Note to PD: Tires do have grip on wet roads.
