Apparently a disgruntled former Rockstar employee chose to release a whole bunch of information over on Gamespot.com before it was removed, but IGN have gotten a hold of the 'deleted' information and posted it for everyone to ponder about.

Now, I know this article is a couple of months old, so I don't know if it's been posted or reported on here, but it makes for pretty interesting reading, particularly as you scroll further down the page...

I seen one thing that pretty much confirmed its fake to me. 

 "11. Police cars will go after you if you're obviousely breaking the speed limit. Having high speed crashes will also damage your health."

Lol Rockstar isn't gonna make us drive around like old women, they're trying to make it more fun not more annoying.

To me, it looks like a wishlist of things that someone who has played Mafia, Saints Row and San Andreas has come up with. Cops will continue to search 24 hours after you lose your wanted level and certain missions will not be available for the duration? lol, there are so many reasons why that would never ever work in a GTA game.
"Damn, I got two stars, now I have to wait 24 in game hours before I can continue the story" And what about the missions where you automatically get wanted stars? Does that mean that you have to just mess about for 24 hours before you can continue?

And working in the games industry must suck. All the AAA titles seem to have at least one or two disgruntled ex employees who are willing to leak info about games.

looking at this list again now is interesting

they mention being able to fly planes,which was just confirmed in the Rockstar Q and A last week or week before

it also mentions about Gangs,which we know to be true because you can carry them over form Max Payne 3

it says its 5 x bigger than GTA4,all we know right now is that Rockstar have said that GTA5 will have the biggest map they have ever done for a game(that includes RDR and past GTA games)

playable demo at E3 -well that didn't happen,but that could be for a number of reasons,Rockstar announcing that they weren't going to E3 for one(this one in fact i don't believe)

I have heard that about the Police chasing you for speeding before,you can only speed if there is no Cop in sight,otherwise they will come after you

May 2013 release will probabaly be true,GTA4 was released April 29th 2008,although that was after a lengthy delay

The 24 hr thing after getting a wanted level is interesting......24 hrs in GTA4 takes 48 minutes in real time,it could be good that you would have to do lesser sidemissions/crimes before able to tackle another big crime(and it makes sense if you are currently most wanted)

Anyway,i am certainly not going to dismiss this list yet,it's cool to read whether it turns out true or not

GTA will always be GTA. There won't be any of this driving around like old ladies, otherwise why would it be called GRAND. THEFT. AUTO.?

If the rumour date is true (I really hope it is, but I'm not clinging on) for October, I would be sooooooo happy.
