shows nothing in game then? Not so special TBH

Hope it turns out better than the boring 4 otherwise it is just St's Row 3 for me.

I'm pretty sure that whole trailer was in-game and not CGI.

Why would any of them cities be better? London would be terrible IMO. Its layout isn't suited to good car chases. Too many small narrow streets.

Overall I'm happy its returning to San Andreas. It was my favourite in the series.

Two of the best Car chase movies I have seen.

Bullitt with Steve McQueen and the Muscle Car Mustang. One of the best car chase scenes ever set in San Francisco.  It's American but had to be mentioned.

Ronin with the French Actor Jean Reno and Robert De Niro. Excellent car chase through the streets of Paris if I remember rightly. Which was not so different from the tight streets of London. Had superb chase scenes that could easily be pulled off in a game such as GTA.

Just look at the Getaway for Instance. That had excellent car chases in London.

I think anything other than the Cities of America would work great in a car chase. I just seems its too easy for them to keep rehashing the same cities over and over again.

While I agree with the your excellent choice of car chases,  movies and game are not the same thing.Movies stage car chases.

The getaway was a goodish game, but it was let down by the driving.

You get a nice car, drive 30 yards and its wrecked. Unless you obeyed the rules of the road.

I don't want to be sunday driving in GTA.

And as for it being easy to keep rehashing the same cities,  well thats not true.

The cities are built from scratch and would require no more or no less time to recreate any city,  anywhere.  The block layout of american cities suits GTA gameplay the best IMO.

Is it me or does GTA V seem a little like those HD classics that's roaming around; Cos Rockstar are not being very creative with their cities. "It's like getting married to your divorced ex wife/husband, where nothing changes apart from their appearance". I want something new, something which ain't been done before. :smileyhappy:

Re: GTA5 looks superb

We've only seen 1 min. We have no idea how different this will be. Seems a bit early to be complaining.

Re: GTA5 looks superb

yeah, it was only a min or so long, to me it felt more open than 4 was, and the humour and satirism suits america, so y move it to another locale? I mean who doesnt love laughing at americans???? but even the gameplay is suited to american cities. and on a final note, if you set it in london roundabouts would confuse most americans, as they are only being introduced there now!!!! ;-)
