Re: The Lost and Damned problem

I had absolutely 0 freezes. It was all very smoooooth. Tried looking on the disc if there is a sratch or abit dirty? (thats if it is the disc version) If not then try deleting the game data utility and re installing everything.

I Would remove that MW2 Pic from my Sig but I can't be bothered, seeing as I don't like CoD anymore

Re: The Lost and Damned problem

I seem to have the same problem. I have the disc version and the game often crashes when i'm playing or when it's showing the loading screen. I have the 40 GB model. Any hints?

Re: The Lost and Damned problem

My PS3 makes load noises when trying to read the disc when it's loading up but when I get playing it for a bit it's not as noisy.

Re: The Lost and Damned problem

I went for a new disc, but the problem is still there ... It must be the lens or something ...

Re: The Lost and Damned problem

I haven't had any issues, no freezes, no frame rate problems, not even long loading.

Re: The Lost and Damned problem

No probs here either (at all).
Perhaps those with freezing issues, have corrupt areas on their HDD ?
Just a guess as I think (corrupt HDD segments) may be the cause (as I suspect they are with many Heavy Rain users with issues.)
The GTA episodes rely on a rather large installation on the HDD (as does HR).
If you have corrupt sectors / segments, this could explain it.
Try a look at the PS3 recovery menu > http://boardsus.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-3-General/How-to-access-the-PlayStation-3-Recovery-Me...

Option 3 will find bad segments on the HDD & will attempt to recover them.
I have some on mine (can't fix em) but mine don't seem to affect any of my games so far.
If they did, I think I'd have to reformat the whole HDD & reinstall everything (which has worked for a few of my friends who had probs with HR).

Just a though. :smileywink:
