Why has there always been a problem with multiplayer invites?

Opening the ports for GTA IV or setting up a DMZ will help with invites your end. You can still have issues with some if their stuck behind a dodgy NAT or strict firewall. Chap on my friends list i could never invite but he could invite me.

It's always been like this, with many of my friends, and many different internet providers I've been with and they've been with.
It is an issue with GTA IV. Their system is buggy.

Aye, GTA should've fixed itself by now. Hoping they've noticed anywho and wont be a problem in GTA V..
