How to export a textured object from Maya (or max) to vita ?

Hi,

I have some Maya model (and max models) I want to use them on the playstation suite

but i dont understand how to do this.

I'v try to export to fbx, then use the"ModelConverter.exe". and i get  the model, but without any textures.

could someone help me ? (or is there a maya / max exporter pluggin for pss ?)

(I want Textures, not 3D paint or Vertex paint)

Please use plain text.

Try exporting as an FBX.2010 file. It seems the MDX convertor tool does not properly understand the format of .2011-2013 files. It even has a few problems with older versions too but in general will work as a .2010 file. If your model is not animated you might even get better results exporting as FBX.2009.

Hopefully the modelling pipeline is something that will be VASTLY improved in future releases.
