Heavenly Sword falls into the category of grossly underrated / ignored games.
I think it is a FANTASTIC game, full stop. The gameplay is top notch, the graphics are briliant, the cgi motion capture along with its voice acting is unbelievable and the art / sound direction is really quite stunning.
Theres only one reason this game essentially flopped, huge amount of hype and lots of anti-PS3 journalism going on at the time. The game was destined to fail, every minor fault was nit picked at, i mean, just because it had a little bit of screen tear it lost review scores. There was only one valid criticism of it, and that was that it was far too short.
Its a really great game but a little too short to justify paying for, I really recommend everyone goes down to the nearest blockbuster and looks for a copy of it. A sequel is definitely required!

I doubt there will be a sequel, I don't think it sold well and in my opinion it was pretty poor. With all the quality games that are out now/coming out, a sequel would probably do even worse than the first. I only bought the first because there were hardly any decent games out at the time and I wish I hadn't bothered.
