Scope for more games based on the Lore?

If I were Creative Ninja, I'd think about slapping out some more games based on the lore of this game. Just looking at the animation series shows that there is scope to develop lots of games here.

Imagine an RTS game where armies like Bohan's face off against each other.

The game engine is out there, and ok, needs just a wee bit of tightening, but I hope that the initial criticism (which I think has been harsh, but purely because the game is under a microscope) doesn't put them off pursuing more games in this realm.

What do you think?

Amen to that. I've never seen anything like it. Photo-realistically rendered troops, but there are literally thousands of them on screen, in game. Wonder how many of the Cell's SPE's Ninja Theory actually uses? Would be very interesting.

Another thought, Starcraft 2 on PS3? Mouse and Keyboard ist there and its a fact that Starcraft 2 suppourts dual-core threading, so at least they'll be able to utilise 2 of the available 7 cores on Sony's Cell Processor if they don't screw up the port.

Any expansion from the lore would be wicked, I think. The RTS idea sounds really good and I think an RPG would also work well. Just watching the animated episodes shows how much interesting backstory the game has which I'd love to see developed farther. BTW, are you the same Widge from AV Forums?

this is a good idea. the 5-8 hours in the games showed how much potential the world had. its not really original or deep as it is in the game, but the artistic design and characters make it intriguing.

What do you think? Sequels should definitely be released but Ninja have got to be careful not to turn the game into a Microsoft style games machine where anything that can make money is churned out (ie. Halo (I mean isn't Halo Wars going a bit too far)). Heavenly Sword was created with a lot of love behind it. An RTS is probably going a bit to far. A well made and thought out trilogy would suit the game more.

You could do anything, an epic RTS, a huge free roaming sandbox game to  rival the likes of Oblivion/KOTOR.

Be what it may regarding some opinion on HS, the characters and setting are iconic.

I've been dashing around LittleBigPlanet as Nariko and its just striking!
