Wow, I just read all 10 pages of this thread...just...wow.
Anyhow, it was a fun read and I've got this to say:
No, you cannot disable the nudity, though some of it can be avoided. You're allowed your opinion, as is everyone who said something in this thread. Personally, I found the tediem of undressing the main character to take a morning shower to be amusing, the detail of it made me laugh a bit, as did having to make him shave. Was it unecessary? Maybe. Frankly a lot of the random things you have to do in this game seem unecessary, like trying to cook eggs (which I failed terribly at) but that's part of the awkward morbid humor involved in this game. If you find it objectionable, then it's probably not for you. I think you're missing out on a really great game because of something I personally find irrelivant, but that's your choice and I can respect that.
However, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and that goes for both sides of the fence here. So if you think that playing this game will ruin your relationship...well then don't play it unless you're looking for a convenient way to break up with someone. Or, if you're going to drop trow while watching someone strip at gunpoint...you've got a whole other set of issues I don't even wanna get into, but I'm sure you will enjoy that scene far more than me, and that's cool too, just make sure to lock your door, lol. I'm sure about 99.999% of the people who play this game will either get a chuckle out of the ridiculousness of the situation, or won't think twice about it. They will be much more concerned with saving the kid than they are about lady lumps.
After having beaten the game and replaying many of the scenes, I had almost foregotten about this one in the scope of the whole game, and it was definetly low on my list of favorite scenes, not because I found it objectionable, but because there were so many more intense and powerful themes here that were much more emotional and important.

Like when you had the option to give heart medication to the fellow who killed lauren...I had to pause and think about what I wanted to do (though in retrospect it seems kind of frivolous after finding out about everything else Shelby did) until I decided to give him the medicine.

Long story short, the length of this thread (and admittedly my own post) is an injustice to all the other wonderful things about this game. If you're not into the nudity, and that's reason enough for you to take a pass on this game, I truly feel sorry for you, but to each his own. I think there are a lot of people who would prefer the scene have been left out, and I disagree with them, but they will still probably play and enjoy the rest of the game, so good for them. As for the rest of us, we're probably not even going to remember that part of it next year, we're going to remember other more impacting things, and THAT is the point of the game. Please please please let this thread die now, it matters so little.
And for those of you who are wondering, yes I am completely aware of the irony in posting in a thread in hopes that it will die...but that's life, lol. Anyways, amusing read, but let it go.
