Heavy Rain

Hey guys, got Heavy Rain today and I was super excited to play it. I loaded it up and it told me I needed to update to software version 2.00. I did so, which was followed by a longer than normal "Please Wait..." screen. My PS3 continued to beep three times and simply show a black screen. Trying to cancel the update simply leaves me frozen on the loading screen. 

I have a 60GB PS3 Fat, and I've already switched off the Media Server Connection. And help would be really appreciated, looking forward to playing this!

strange when i tried updating wipeout hd it did something similar,try signing out of psn then do update with it signed out if that fails try waiting a while before pressing the ok button for update to continue are you using fw 2.20 or 2.21, im using 2.21 . not sure if any of this will help but worth a try.

Tried doing all of the above, including the second solution both signed in and out of PSN, neither worked. Using System Software 4.21 is what it says on my System Information. :/
