Re: Heavy Rain film....

The real actors that play the characters in the game should be cast in any movie of it. Why would you cast someone else?

well if you actually looked it up , some of them aren't actors or actresses. Madison for example is just a model , they just used her voice and hot body. That's why i asked who would you pick to play the characters? bit of fun :smileyhappy:

Re: Heavy Rain film....

Usually in these sorts of pre-rendered content games they use actors, and model the in game characters very closely to them.... The guy who plays Scott Shelby literally is him! LOL... wasn't listening close enough to hear if he was a 'real' actor or not..

Funny in RE5 though they had two actors... one for the buff body, and one for the voice acting..

Re: Heavy Rain film....

I wouldn't have Ethan or Norman played by any other actors. Pascal and Leon were chosen incredibly well and made the parts their own. I'd also hate to see Shelby be played by another actor.

I don't think making a movie out of this would make a lot of sense, because I don't think you can really take it to an any better place than where it is right now... This is an interactive movie. So you wish to take away the interaction and the different endings? That would be pointless, stripping away what makes Heavy Rain special. You actually also get to have a say in the end.

I just don't see how making this a movie would improve it.

Re: Heavy Rain film....

It would be foolish to have the people who do the voices play the parts in the movie. Voice actors are very different from movie actors.

Most of the main characters are real actors (and the characters are made to look like them aswell). I believe there were 2 people handling Madison (the model for the face/body and the actor for the voice and action sequences).
