Problems is not about clean, my ps3 is very new, I bought 3 day ago with heavy rain game , no other game have problems, only bug and freezing problems on Heavy rain game,

I think it is in all versions because I have the American version or at least the one sold in America. It was going good until chapter five and it froozen on the level Trapped. The cinematic ended with the Private Eye on top of the stairs outside his office and I could not walk. I could turn my characters head and then go into the main menu but there was no symbols for anything and my character could not move. i TURNED MY SYSTEM OFF and that was about 9 hours ago last night.  At lunch I go home and see if it works. I had heard that if you restart the chapter it fixes it but well that effect my saves.

I need it to work I hate to go this far and not finish it. I admire the story telling and I can look past the crappy American accents dialects. The graphics are top notch but these freezing problems or glitches needed to be worked out.

L-Dan I hate to say this but your wrong. I am glad you had no problems however there is a huge problem. I have both the demo and the game releashed yesterday. The demo worked just fine and so did the game up until chapter 5 part 2 where i could not navigate my character. My PS3 is only six months old. So it is not how old my system is it's an error on the game and by the sound of it a common one.

"I just had a huge freezing issue. I had my speakers turned up too. I was in the crime scene investigation (end of the demo) and i cut behind the police and witness? a long the right side of the fence (when you come in, I was finishing up) and I got this huge buzzing noise and the screen went black. so what did that huge patch do?"

I had this issue happen first

Now I'm having the corrupted save file issue, which is much worse.  All I did was quit the game during the golf section of ch.3 (and not during a auto-save).  When I reloaded the save it crashes after the loading face fades out.  Then I tried to restart the golf chaper and it crashes w/o showing the face.  I tried to restart previous chapters and was unable to load any until the very first part of ch.3

How could this game ship with these issues?  And this is after the day 0 patch...

The game froze when the first guy was waking up. My entire PS3 was frozen i had to press the power button.

My console was bought in Novembre. 120gb slim version. Up-to-date firmware. Smoke-free environement.

it's most likly a game problem itself, mine dose it once in a wile depending on what im doing in game, i completed the game already and still working on all the storys, went certain things hapen other things happen.

probuly due to all the posibilitys of the envirment and the content it has to think alot

Ive had the same problem i got the console specifically for this game so its nothing to do with the console it has to be the game itself which is stupid. i went and spent over $300 for the game and console only to get to chapter 4-5 (mad jack) and have it not work i dont want to restart and i shouldnt have to quantic dream needs to get their ***** together and fix this

give it time, this is only the first few days it has been out. i just got a 2nd update this morning on NA version
