After many black screen failed loads (which required a manual console restart), these steps worked in my case.

1st: Delete the 1.01 patch

2nd: Go to the XMB and disable your internet connection.

3rd: Start the game and load the last chapter save that DID NOT correspond with the earning of a trophy.

4rd: See if it works.

5th:  IF it works, continue to play, always with your internet connection disabled.

The theory:  the "Feb 29" bug seemed to create issues with HR trophies for some people (and the problem was internet related).  Ever since then, some people have had the black screen/loading issue.  On some saves inbetween chapters the player earns a trophy, which is saved simultaneously with other data.  For some reason, selecting a chapter save that corresponded with a trophy seems to create the loading bug, at least in my case. 

You might ONLY need to select the last save that didn't correspond with a trophy.  But it seems that having a running internet connection helps create the loading issue itself.  You also might not need to delete the patch.  I did not try every variable here, but I decided to take all of the above steps, and they did work on my end.  BTW, the chapter save that finally worked for me (going back one by one) was "Flowers on the Grave," which I don't believe corresponded with a trophy.

UPDATE: After the fact, for the sake of experiment, I enabled the internet connection and downloaded the 1.01 patch ... and it continues to work fine so far... 

So, in summary, the save files would not load until I went back, chapter by chapter (about three chapters back in my case) and loaded one that -- I'm fairly certain -- DID NOT correspond with the earning of a trophy.

i have a problem of my own..so i update to the ps move edition because i didnt read what it said..then i just thought that it updated the menu so i was like oh cool...but then i realized it was a ps move edition..so i tried to quit to switch to the wireless contorler..but then came up this black screen with just a origami saving symbol at the bottom left and it just keeps blinking and blinking and blinking..so i deleted the patch(the move patch) and as soon as the game pops up it says i must update to version 2.00 so i click ok and the system just shuts off and i go back on and it just says the same thing!!! please..what do i do?
