Look I bought this game because i have always wanted to Play, and i mean Really play a Movie.  And you guys did it. I am 14 HOURS into a fantastic movie about a serial killer and the lives he wittingly and unwittingly affects.  As you play through this movie YOU decide what happens, you succeed or fail on the drop of a dime, " No second Chances", this is living breathing virtual reality.  The story that i am unfolding is unique to the way i reacted, acted, Lived these Characters lives.    NOW.   This is all great. But.  Its also the biggest problem i've run into.  ALL GAMES HAVE GLITCHES,  I'll repeat that for those of you who say no no no... not my copy.....  not that game.... ALL GAMES HAVE GLITCHES.. Thats ok, especially on the PS3, they will just make a patch and fix it...  perfect.  If no fix is available,  o well just start the game over, I mean you like the game enough to care you can't finish it so just play it again.... NOT with this one folks.  I can't duplicate 14 hours of gameplay, no matter how hard i try , i may fail where i previously succeeded, may kill a guy, or not save another.   Look , my point is.  I HAVE INVESTED 55 DOLLARS AND MORE IMPORTANTLY 14 HOURS OF MY TIME INTO AN AMAZING STORY.....And you know what I Am STARING AT A BLANK TV SCREEN.....All Because my saved game won't load....  And just another smack in the face for me.... the chapter i am trying to load is titled Solve The Puzzle...  If they don't fix it soon .... I don't know if it will be worth finishing.... How many of you would pay to watch a movie if i told you 95 % of the way through the show the movie will stop.. and you can watch the end sometime in the next few days, maybe.   RELEASE A FIX NOW.   OR YOU LOSE ALL THAT MONEY FROM ADD ONS....     DO IT FAST.... MAKE IT PUBLIC.... YOU TALKED A BIG GAME... NOW YOU NEED TO JUST  GO AND MAKE IT RIGHT.

I am having the same problem. The game skipped throughout but didnt freeze until, Solve This Puzzle chapter. When I try to load I get a black screen PLEASE FIX THIS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

THE WORST PART IS IT DOESN'T MAKE ME FEEL BETTER KNOWING I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE THIS AFFECTS...........THIS IS A GIGANTIC FAILURE!

The funny thing is I own Xbox 360 and Ps3 have since they came out. This is only the 2nd game I buy for the Ps3 and look what happens. Guess I will play my 360 until they can resolve this issue, if this cant be fixed  then I will sell the game.

I gave up on waiting for a fix, tested loading from different chapters. I was able to load Flowers on the grave. Going to play from there hope it works for others.

Agreed, this is a HUGE problem, and a massive failure for the QA team.  Bottom line, this needs to be fixed yesterday.  If something as simple as a save game can't work, it doesn't matter how amazing the graphics are.  I want Quantic Dream to succeed, but IF CONSUMERS CAN'T TRUST YOUR PRODUCT, NO MATTER HOW GOOD IT IS, THEY WON'T BUY IT.  People will remember this for the next game the studio puts out, and what Quantic Dream does in the next few days will define not only the success of Heavy Rain, but the success of the studio as well.

Please Quantic Dream, don't fail your fans.  We're counting on you.

yea im about 10 hours in and as I go to load the game i get this also. I tried going back to different chapters but nothing works. The disk isn't booting when it should. Starting a new game or looking and unlocks works but loading doesn't. IM NOT going to start all over FIX THIS NOW

I can't load my saved game either ***** is this... Do the mods even care?

Maybe if we flag all of the messages and keep bumping this thread we MIGHT get noticed.  Also mods: ANY RESPONSE IS BETTER THAN NONE.

Apparently playing the game offline helps.
