Minor issue with the controls

Just got my hands on Heavy Rain today. Great game so far; I'm liking the characters and the plot. A great successor to Indigo Prophecy for sure. Nice work again guys.

However, I have a problem with the controls, particularly, when trying to rescue the little boy and getting to the butterfly, by going under the electrically charged fence. Why do the controls have to be so ridiculous. At this point, I am very frustrated with the game and I just got it today. This control scheme, I feel could be improved upon.

It isn't a problem with the game persay; but you see, I have cerebral palsy and three of my limbs are effected by it-my left hand being one of them. Part of my frustration, comes from the companies not knowing. It isn't their fault though. The average gamer, probably isn't handicapped. and the companies probably wouldn't even realize or think about this. As I said, it isn't their fault that they don't know. But it's very frustrating sometimes, playing a game with outrageous button combos and whatnot for a gamer with different circumstances. Most of the developers and such probably think: "Okay, the average gamer is this and this and this-they probably wouldn't think: some of these guys only use 1 and a half hands. lol

Re: Minor issue with the controls

Are you playing on "easy" in the first place? Your right hand does alright though, right? If so, it shouldn't be too bad,  all you use your left for is L1 and L2.

Re: Minor issue with the controls

My only problem with the controllers is moving the player around. :smileysad:
