Refund?

Ok so I bought this game and I enjoyed it until it froze at the same place 3 times in a row (crime scene getting into the car after scouting the area for clues) and was wondering if it would be able to get a full refund on the game?

I'm from the U.K.

Re: Refund?

Hi - I'm taking my copy back today for a full refund (HMV)

I will post this afternoon and let you know how I got on. I see no reason for them to quibble as it is after all, a faulty product.

I'm also interested to know how many other people have returned their copies.

Cheers.

I took mine back on Saturday, for a full cash refund (to HMV). It's faulty, therefore you have the rights to get a refund.

Re: Refund?

Hmv and others will give you a refund, however youre not entitled to it..

The warranty with a game only covers the disc and case, If there is a bug or glitch with the software you have to report it to the maker and give them a chance to investigate and fix it. If they conclude that the game is fine and it must be your ps3, then you have to prove the error is with the game and not your console.

Bring it back and get a refund, but you have no right to it. Most people who return things under warranty etc have no real right to it, and its simply done to keep people happy so they will buy again.

Re: Refund?

I plumped for bad company 2, which incidentally came with 'the hurt locker' on bd for an extra fiver. Every cloud...

I can live with a few minor bugs but a completely broken game takes the absolute *****.

Re: Refund?

It's because they can afford to be lazy with testing due to the ability to patch at a later date.
