Stuck on screen

Cannot figure out why I cannot pass screen at the sleazy place after the detective beats up the abusive client visiting the prostitute ! Screen shows a Close up of Ethan ... Screen says Reminder Press and hold down the indicated buttons simultaneously until they disappear Buttons o x and triangle are rotating. I cannot get past this!!! What am I doing wrong?

I'm having the same issue, just on a different chapter. If anyone has a solution it would be appreciated!
