Re: Simulating GamePads in Simulator...

Not true, however you have to pay shipping fees.

Oh ok, great. Do you have a link to that, as I can't see it.

Re: Simulating GamePads in Simulator...

The developers that were at GDC were using a PS3 controller, and they told me it was a separate driver install to get it working with PSS. Can't find it anywhere, though I'm guessing it actually doesn't come with the SDK and the developer was just confused about what I was asking.

Re: Simulating GamePads in Simulator...

Having a DS3 hooked up to the PC thru either bt or usb would be a major help.

Re: Simulating GamePads in Simulator...

@ShinNali, The drivers that he may have been referring to are probably the internal drivers that we provide PS3 developers with. Unfortunately these drivers cannot be released here. I do however understand that using a PS3 controller on the PC with the simulator would be a nice addition, so I'll pass this feedback back to the teams.

Thanks.

Re: Simulating GamePads in Simulator...

If the simulator can accept gamepad input, there's MotioninJoy drivers for hooking up a DS3 to a PC via USB or BT.  There's even a Windows 7 64-bit version.  I prefer my PS2 to USB adapter though, so if there was generic pad support with assignable buttons I'm sure we could figure out the rest.

Re: Simulating GamePads in Simulator...

There there no official drivers for Playstation controllers, only unofficial one... but they useless if simulator does not support controllers at all

Re: Simulating GamePads in Simulator...

Yes, simulator needs to support Windows joystick/gamepad input. Then official/unofficial sixaxis/ds3 drivers will allow using sixaxis/ds3 with simulator.
