I live in Vienna, Austria and to get a PS Plus account (well, to get one at the last minute on the night the theme was being released) you need a credit card, but my original user is set to a UK account which means you can only use credit cards registered in the UK, of which I no longer have.

Soooo ... I set up an Austrian account and bought the PS Plus for this account and downloaded the theme that way.

This is fine for normal PS Plus content as you download it with one account and you can use it from your PS3 with any account so no problems there.

However, I was wondering if there is any kind of restriction RE playing the Beta with a different account than the one you gained access to it with?  As I want to be able to use my normal account to have access the Friends List.

I know this is a pretty specific question but if anyone has any experience or even heard anything please share the wealth!

I dunno. I've been hearing stories over on the Killzone Beta boards that it locks you out for 24hours if you try, but I'm not sure....

Hi ya,

It will lock you out for 24 hours if you download and play under the same account on a different console - It is best to stick to one PSN ID to avoid this.

looks like i need to invest in a decent carry case for my ps3 then

as i cant even use my account on my inlaws ps3 to play the beta that i got into

how about if someone from your family plays it on your ps3 but their account then?

i dont have the beta, but its just strange lol.
