Well every week it seems the same questions are asked about the Honor ranks,
in this thread I am hopefully going to cover every question I can think of that usually cause the problems.
First off what are they?
Honor ranks are awards awarded to the top 10, 6, 3, and 1% of players for a particular week. With each rank there is a trophy to go with it.
10%

Valor Citation
Achieve weekly online honor rank #1 (Bronze)
6%

Valor Medal
Achieve weekly online honor rank #2 (Bronze)

Valor Cross
Achieve weekly online honor rank #3 (Silver)

Valor Grand Cross
Achieve weekly online honor rank #4 (Gold)
If you make it for example to 3%, you will be awarded the 3, 6, and 10% trophies at the same time. As long as you have made it into the boundaries you will be awarded with the trophy.
The honor system is based on the weekly leader boards for a week. After every week at Sunday 11:59 the weekly results are effectively frozen and reset. Some time later (3 hours Max I would say) the ranks are given out to the players who have made it. The numbers for the ranks change every week, as they are based on percentages of players for a week. I cannot stress this enough it is the weekly leader boards which are used for the honor ranks, not the all time ones. And your overall stats will not be affected.
Can you work the player boundaries out for your self?
Yes you can, go on to the weekly leader boards in game > Square > Sort > Then click on score, this will take you to the bottom of the weekly leader boards. Take the number of the player right at the bottom. For example I will use "398,675" divide 398,675 by 100 = 3987 (Rounded up
) That is the target to get into the 1% for this made up week. To work out the rest of the ranks is easy, simply times 10, 6, or 3 by 3987.
1 (times) 3987= 3987
3 (times) 3987= 11,961
6 (times) 3987= 23,922
10 (times) 3987= 39,870
Of course '3987' was made up, but you can see how to work it out for a real week.
Random questions.
Can you loose your ranks?
Yes! If you do not make it back into the percentage you loose your coloured ribbon behind your player rank. But you will keep your trophies.
Best way to get points?
Asked a lot in general, but I have found the best way is to get the Body Count Specialist badge ( 8 lots of "10% of the kills for your team in the Body Count mission" ribbon. Once you unlock this you get 3 points for a kill made during body count mission. Now go into body count only games, usually titled "100kill 20 minutes!" I would recommend going in smaller 16v16 / 12v12 games less manic, another plus point if the game has assault class turned off it is a real god send!
The points should rack up pretty quickly. ![]()
But will get hugely boring after a while so break it up with warzone games and some community events / games. ![]()
Well I think I have covered everything, if you have anything else to add please go ahead and post. If you are quick enough I can edit in to the post. If not doesn't matter. ![]()
Also any other question post aswell, I will, and I am sure the rest of the community will try to answer.
Side note to the Mods, if this thread becomes helpful could I have a request for it to be stickied?
Thanks a lot.
