not much solace for those that downloaded within the first few minutes and still have no code despite sony stating it took almost 30 for all the spots to be spoken for.

This is the part i don't like (in bold), under normal circumstances it's fine, just the luck of the draw,so to speak, but in this case it was driven by attracting more + memberships, so there will be people out there that paid for plus specifically to get access to download the theme and get in to the beta, because they were told that the first 10,000 to download it WOULD be sent a beta key on the 25th, to then state, on the 26th that being one of those 10,000 doesn't actually garuntee you a key is.. for lack of a better word, false advertising.

The problem here is that they stated it took 30 minutes for all of the 10,000 spots to be snapped up, so anyone who downloaded the theme between that time will quite rightly assume that they are without a doubt, "in".

I've two friends whome downloaded within the first 5 minutes whome still have not received codes, should 8pm hit and their codes still not be with them, then i cannot imagine how crappy they, and however many else in their boat, would feel.

For the record, both of them have checked spam mail, both have checked and made sure both their privacy options on psn are ticked, and both of them are absolutely sure they downloaded within the first 5 minutes the theme was up.

They are checking the list of those that got in with this one and if you match then you're sorted and should be in the next batch.

I ain't in yet as I only just posted so hopefully for tomorrow.
