I've been plagued by Network errors all day and it's starting to ***** me off just a little bit.

I was in a game earlier were I was actually doing quite well with 125 points and just as my team won I thought 'woho lots of points coming my way with x1.5... Boy was I wrong. The game ended, went to the sync screen, or whatever it is before the stats coming up and then froze there. To tell the truth I raged a little as I wasn't impressed then after about 30secs the game came back and went to the loading screen. I'm guessing it just froze out the stats and round end for some reason. After that I got into the new game and about 1min in it shoots me out with a network error.

So then I went and played on a pistol only server for awhile, played a couple of nice games and then go kicked again with another network error, tried to go back in... and again towards the end of the next game kicked. Did this about 10 times if I'm honest, just hoping it would stop doing it.

Gave up and tried a Warzone server, played fine for a good 4-5 games and then another network error, so went into another Warzone server and was kicked after about 5min of playing.

I didn't pay much attention to the first set of errors but the last two were network errors 4512 and 5021.

Please someone help I'm trying to get the Valor trophies and getting kicked a gazillion times and losing my points isn't helping

5021 and 4512 are pretty common ones, I get them occasionally but usually resetting my router is enough to get rid of them. I usually find that 2 things contribute to the errors:

1. Game size - 32 player modes on small maps often lead to disconnections for me - maybe try smaller games?

2. Mic - Often turning on my mic is enough to disconnect me within about 5 seconds, I dunno whether this might be the case for you but it's worth considering.

I general to tend to try the 32 player games, but the pistol only game I was in earlier was a 32 player size, but only had about 12 players in it and I was still get disconnected silly amount of times from it.

Also, I do have a mic but I don't use it while on KZ. It is plugged into my PS3 atm though, might unplug it and see if that helps.

Also just got network error code: 8013 after 3-5mins in another Warzone room with around 20 people in it.

Sometimes Bluetooth (Bluetooth remote for me) or wifi devces can interfere with Killzone and cause you to disconnect

When I get constant disconnects I go around and turn off all Bluetooth and Wifi devices


I don't know how it does it but I read about it on the net and usually it works for me

Unfortunately this would be a little hard for me as I live with 3 students so it's laptops and phones all over the place!

Just got another 5021 error there now... I love how it only seems to happen when I'm on the winning team. /sarcasm.

It suggest to hijack (reserve) the router just for PS3. Not very polite for other users in your vicinity...

I did take a look at that thread but couldn't reply and none of the tips have helped.

As stated I live with 3 students so unfortunately I can't reserve my router just for my PS3, also I don't feel that's a solution really as I shouldn't have to do that just to play a game online.

The error codes link you posted seems to be just for PSN error codes. I don't get any PSN error, I don't even get signed out of PSN. It's just KZ giving me error codes.

I've played KZ a lot the past few days and seems its having server trouble. Yesterday all the servers went down for about 10-15 mins.
