Nice try Sony

Obviously you must be desperate, obviously this is a last attempt to try and revive the game. The game is dead. This is the first time ive heard where theyve given out MP for free for a  PS title. It will soon go back to being dead after the new players who download this free multiplayer decide that its a load of rubbish, full of glitches, without "Cod controls" Because we all know that CODs controls is the most user friendly and everyone can use....

The game soon died about a month after release.

Re: Nice try Sony

I don't think they're trying to hide that they're attempting to revive the KZ3 multiplayer, yet you're complaining that they're giving people the opportunity to try it out for free before purchasing? Why not just not download it?

As for not imitating Call of Duty, there's a reason the game's called Killzone 3 and not Call of Duty. Cos, y'know, they're different games. Lord knows the genre's already diluted as it is, I don't see why making every game identical would be a good thing.

Au contraire, KZ3 is still going strong and quite a few people on the forums here noted quite an incrase in player numbers in the past few months. Plus there are still the regular community events with KZAM from TheNarrator and the country vs country events that have been organised in the past by members of the wider European Killzone community (when I put it like that it sounds like an official organisation :smileytongue:)

Your statement of the multiplayer being "a load of rubbish" is your own opinion and it is clear that you have preference for the "CoD" control layout yet though your statemet that the game is "full of glitches" seems like an exagerration and potentially gives an insight that you probably havn't played the Killzone MP in quite some time, though this is purely conjecture on my part.

With any game you are bound to run into a glitch at some point, it's just the nature of the beast. I am only speaking for myself here, I feel that KZ3 is not full of glitches and when compared to other games, both within the FPS genre and online MP games, it is one of the most technologically stable games I have played.

Back to the original topic, myself and others will happily tell you that KZ3 is far from dead and I would like to extend an invitation to at least try the MP again when it is released on the store, it will at least put yourself in a more informed, and up to date, position to form your opinion on the game.

Re: Nice try Sony

Well said both neo and chris.I was going to respond to this earlier but dismissed it as someone trolling but seeing as you guys have responded in a mature and informative fashion I'll just add that I hope the free access to the mp brings loads of new players who can appreciate what a great and unique game killzone is. When you have two evenly matched teams trying to win a game of warzone there's no MP game as intense or satisfying.

Re: Nice try Sony

Well I am a newbie to KZ3 and bought into the game after playing the demo. I can only say, it's awesome!!! Occasional glitch, but mostly wicked!!!!!!

For a moment then I thought you actually cared for the game, then I realised you don't and cant see your point in posting TBF..

It is a desperate attempt yes, but its only a demo of the multiplayer and nothing more. People still have to buy the full game to enjoy the full mulitplayer experience.

In their opinion, the new players who came and went thought it was rubbish. I however never said I hated the game, Im just disappointed with the way it turned out. It was successful at first but a month after release it soon got quiet. Ive been playing KZ since the first game.

they cant hide that kz3 wasn't as successful as they thought it would be. it is a good game but there is so much shooters out there, that kz3 drowned. by giving away the mp+map packs, and sell a cap unlocker in this late stage of the game. i think is a very good thing to do. it will bring the community together after the map pack split and more people will play it. i see this as a good advert for the next kz game...

Remember to give KUDOS if you like :smileyhappy:

Re: Nice try Sony

It's sad to see what has become of Killzone 3. I loved KZ2 but I could never love KZ3 as much as I did KZ2. Maybe if they hadn't made so many changes to KZ3, it might have been more successful.
