I ended up with 2 killzones (long story) and so I decided to return my play.com preorder copy, So i got the returns code and sent it, with the game, invoice and returns email, via recorded post to play.
Almost a week later it says on my tracking code
'location; uk depot, info;return to sender'
fair enough, but the next day it said it had been delivered and that was monday 16th of March.
So has it been lost or have play.com got it, and if they do have it, how could it take a week to give someone their money back.
Would be great to hear from someone who has returned something to play.
Regards

never sent anything back to play but if they have signed for it then play will have to give you the money back if they havent signed then it the royal mails fault and they will have to pay up best thing is to phone play, there phone number is at the bottom of the home page
Ive returned something to play.com and they said it could take 5 working days for payment to get back to me. Which is fair enough I suppose. If they have a differentbank from me and its over the weekend then 5 days is OK. I think, if you leave it till Wednesday and if you still dont have your cash back, then give them a phone on 0845 800 1020

I'm working for store with online shop and I'd say you are safe. Returns will always take time because first they'll wait to get product back and to sign it at stock. After that they'll let money department know that it is ok to pay the money. You'll get to end of the list and get paid within 1-2 days which then takes anything from 2-5 _working days_ so it means 5 days is from monday to monday..
Ofc I don't work at play.com but I'm guessing its pretty much same to them and every other online store.. So give it 14 days and then start stressing, you'll get your money eventually ![]()
