Just the other day as I was struggling with snow I realized there is no snow in KZ2. Perhaps it was a summer offensive or the planet is quite hot (No real desert in the game although Pyrrhus is quite dry, but constant rain at Beachhead). Anyway snow would make easier to track down those invisible snipers...
Perhaps little less overheating of the turrets also.
I like the water graphics but what if Corinth River would freeze?![]()

There were those levels in the original Killzone set in the mountains, but that was set in Vekta. I think Helghan's climate is more dry amd dusty, but I suppose in some more mountainous parts there could be some.
To be honest I'm secretly hoping that KZ3 will be set on Earth, with the Helghast taking the fight to the place that originally got the ISA involved. Guerilla's rendering of London anyone?

That's a really good point, I think snow would be great in Killzone, it would look amazing with the KZ2 engine! They should do some other climates aswell, like kopite mentioned.
Snow seems to be the natural progression this gen, for example MW2, BC2, Uncharted 2, Just Cause 2 all introducing snow in their sequels.
