Re: "Official" [BTG] Badge.

If its a forum you want, use a IPB/Invisionfree board and link it to your news page which i suppose you could power using Joomla or another Blog like CMS.

Re: "Official" [BTG] Badge.

A forum won't happen until we get more properly active members - right now it's at about 10 or 12 I think? We would need at least 30, preferably 40 or so, otherwise the forums would just sit and gather dust.

A website is a good idea though - just our place on the 'net, it wouldn't have a forum, just a place to tell people about ourselves and that type of stuff.

That's an even worse idea than a forum :smileyindifferent:. Much more of a waste IMO. It won't even be used then. You could probably just set up a free forum on one of those free forum sites though.

@red, that's my job :xEvil:.

Well it's not my decision as to whether or not a forum gets created. If we had more members, then the forum would be used more. We need to 'clean' out our KZ2 members who aren't active in the game though, so we have a better idea of members that actually participate in clan events.

Re: "Official" [BTG] Badge.

If you build it... they will come.

TEC Started on Valentines day 2006.

Started on a standard SuddenLuanch forums with no actual site.

Started off slow, then started to gather momentum thanks to our players making a name for us IN GAME.

People would search TEC or the name of the member.

3.5 years later we are at this forum now www.gamerhold.com (Still working on the Front page, hope it will be up soon)

And we almost have 500,000 posts, which by member to post ratio makes us one of the most active team sites/communities in Oz.

So don't be negative, you need to start somewhere, you say you have 12 members...

We started with 4.

I look forward to seeing BTG grow, TEC needs more rivals. :xEvil:

[ Edited ]

Yeah too rite eXc!

Everyone has to start somewhere. Massive communities arent built overnight.

We decided from the begining to have a small clan but they are dedicated members.

We have got around 30,000 posts on our forums but remember we only had 1 at the very begining.

Like one of our newest members said...''You guys had a forum so it showed you guys are dedicated''. So just make the darn forum!! haha

Oh and we only started with two. And im sure most have started with only one.
