Hey all, Bongo and the boys have reported in with the following events from yesterday afternoon -
After lunch we wandered outside to discover.....wait
for it......yes, the car park! Not quite what we had expected but we soon noticed
that beyond this colourful sea of cars lay what we had been hoping for - the beach!
Artificial or not it contained the most
important aspect of all popular beaches throughout Europe
- skimpily clad German girls! And many of them. Though as distracting as they
were we soon decided we should try to focus our attention on some of the other
delights that were within the area. It was soon after this we discovered the
football arena (that was generally full of lots of sweaty gamers) and the ‘adults
only' poker area that caused us all to remortgage our country mansions. Background
music was provided by the nearby music stage but unfortunately we must have
missed the traditional oompa style German bands. Shame!
As you can image most of the people in this
area were very relaxed and generally having a good time. We excitedly tried to
pick up the pace when we saw the quad bike race track and consequently all hurried
over into the queue. Though unfortunately, on closer inspection it resembled
more of a pony ride at the beach rather than a real race. Four or five people
at a time would follow an instructer all over the hilly track at the pace of a
brisk jog. We gave it a miss.
Amongst all this by the far the most fun
attraction was the vertical wind tunnel. This proved to be very popular among
many of the skydiver wanabe gamers! Being the fashion conscious professionals that
we are (ahem) the silly suits that you have to wear put us off from actually trying
this out but we had a lot of fun watching people look like a dog's tongue stuck
out of a car window.
Anyway chaps, we're now back off inside to
see many more exciting titles. Stay tuned for more updates!
