Just because they are shipping to retail on the 27th does not mean it will release that day.
So I would remain sceptical.

If they're shipping it to the US on the week beginning the 27th of October (link) then why not over here by then or early november? It's not as if they're re-inventing the wheel here. Find the offending track. Remove it. now make some copies and there you go! (yes, I do realises it's probably a little more complicated than that but come on!

dont be to sceptical its a pretty easy task to replace all the discs get stock levels up in 2 weeks especially as MM have confirmed the new disc image and a day 0 patch was ready as of thursday.
remember there is more than one Blu ray pressing plant in the world, at least one for each major market region so they will be stocking each region at the same time. the hardest part will be the recall of all the discs already sent to retailers and as for logistics that is not an issue in this day and age with next day delivery being common.
with all these factors taken care of i think a 2 week delay is more than enough time to solve this issue i bet in europe alone the pressing plant will have already knocked out thousands of copies since thursday and they will be boxed waiting for courrier pickup on sunday evening to be delivered on monday morning to retailers. 3 days is along time and alot of discs can be pressed in that time especially as those pressing plants are a 24 hour/7day a week operation.

Also - remember - Sony might be caught (especially in bureaucratic Europe) with a recertification process or something like that before shipping the amended versions ...
Don't think they will. If the original version with the "offensive content" (<I call Bullsh*t on that) included was suitable for release an' they're only removing stuff, which essentially keeps all of the content that's already been certified, recertifying the entire game would be a waste of time and money for everyone envolved.

Whilst I am not in any way disputing your claim that you are 'offended' by the song on MotorStorm 2, I fail to see.......
a) Why anyone else should care,
b) How, in any way, shape or form this 'helps out Littlebigplanet',
c) What point you're trying to prove apart from a bit of ***** for tat.

A.) Not caring is how our civil liberties got slowly eroded away by spineless politicians!
B.) It shows double standards in the face of extremists. If a Muslim gets up set he goes out and kills a cartoonists, if a Christian does he's ignored and mocked.
C.) You can't have one rule for one and one for everyone else just because your scared of what "they" might do.

No, terrorism is the reason our 'civil liberties' have been slowly eroded, or at least this is the reason given by 'spineless polititions'. Anyway your reasoning behind this 'campaign' (used in the loosest sense of the word) is skewed i.e. would you have made that post if the game had of not been recalled and merely patched? I'm thinking no. Which brings me back to this t i t for tat mentality that I cited earlier.
Pointless.

it says "We will begin shipping LittleBigPlanet to retail in North America the week of October 27th" in other words the game will be shipping for retail on the 27th, shipping has prob already begin my man.
