I got LBP GOTY and had the Metal Gear Solid pack with it, and i took ages playing to collect and unlock it all to use when creating levels, but in LBP2 i cant use them, it says i have no permission.

So i guess i have to buy this for LBP2?, then if so it doesn't show up on the LBP2 in game store.

the Marvel level kit works, and the Pirates of the Caribbean works thankfully.

The creator pack 1 works (although i think this came with LBP GOTY as i cant remember buying it).

Also, all my collected community stuff and things i had created wont come over to LBP2.

Any help for this to get it to work please?

Creator Pack 1 was a free download, and didn't come with LBP1 GotYe.

Try saving your Profile in LBP1, then Loading it in LBP2.

I also have the GotYe of LBP1, and all of my 'on disk' dlc transferred back when I got LBP2 way back when.
Though I do remember a bug where some owners of the GotYe LBP1 did not get all of their DLC...

Have you Updated the game fully?

No you will not have to purchase the DLC separately for it to work on LBP2. However you will have to purchase it, if you sell/loose/break the GotYe disk and get the Digital LBP1 over PSN. learned that the hard way....

As for the Community Objects/ect, the Saving of your LBP1 Profile, then loading it in LBP2 should also bring all of that over as well.

It sounds like you may have hit do not load, when you first played LBP2, and it asked you to load your LBP1 profile. I did that, had to figure out how to fix it lol.

Hi there thanks for the info, I was in the middle of putting LBP goty back on, this is a new console so i had to reinstall and update,,, I was about to go back onto LBP2... but have now gotten carried away with perfecting a level i had left unfinished.

Everytime i put this on and go into creator mode, my mind throws millions of ideas out and i just cant put them all down quick enough.

Anyway, i have reinstalled LBP goty and got it all updated, so now when i go back to LBP2, at the very start, hit start and do the profile thing again?

I just hope that all the stuff i had unlocked to use in creator mode will still be available to use right away in LBP2.

Wait till you have all of the Tools/Objects for LBP2's create mode.

Yup, the game should ask if you want to load your profile. If not, when you enter your POD in lbp2 pause the game, and go to Profile Settings (I think, I am currently 493 miles away from my ps3) and select Load LBP1 profile. or maybe Update profile...

Everything you created in lbp1, unlocked in lbp1, bought for lbp1, will be available imediately in lbp2, after you get this profile thing straightened out.
