Level 4
There is no way to import music into Little Big Planet 2. Not saying it is impossible, just improbable.
This is due to Copyright issues that would be present, as if there were a way to import, then there would be a way to export, thus adding to the Piracy market.
However there are Music Creators that are able to manipulate the Sequencer enough to more closely emulate Electronic versions of popular music.
There are also people whom manipulate the system.
If you go back to any level where a NON LBP2 song is playing, look around for the following:
Low quality sound. These songs generally have a lower quality sound, especially when compared to in game music.
Subtitles or Magic Mouth bubbles. Generally these levels do not have either of these.
This is all I can and will tell you about this topic. It is generally (as you discovered) not a topic people talk about because it hinders the Music makers in LBP2. If you can get the actual song in the game, why make a version of it for the game?
