The later levels are just way too hard. A good challenge of course not a bad thing - heck, I could potentionally enjoy the world's hardest game - but these are hard for the wrong reasons. Most of my deaths have come from glitches or stupid design: Getting crushed between something that isn't meant to crush, and being "tricked" into death because there was no way to predict the danger, for example. In my opinion, the story levels are the complete opposite of what good platformer levels should be - they're punishing, and rarely fair.
Just a little rant, but I'm wondering - does anyone else agree? Or do I just suck? ![]()

Some of the later levels are hard, but I wouldn't say *too* hard... I had to re-do The Bunker a dozen times but that was more from mis-judging the jumps of the Wheel of Doom! I never got crushed by things you shouldn't be crushed by. But then, I have in other levels and ended up having to 'pop' myself to go back to the last check point!
We are definitely not past the point of having to restart if we die a few times, in some cases I miss those days! Having to restart Sonic from the start if you loose you're lives and having to do the entire game in one sitting! It's not for every game, but it works for games like this. Look at something like Bioshock, if you die in there you just carry on from where you left off, not even having to restart the section!! It's much more fun with the vita chambers turned off, and Little Big Planet is ample fun having to restart if you die too many times...
imho...
